Noticing the tics he had is the one thing he would never want anyone to know, scared of what he might do or say in front of them. Being afraid of people disliking him for something that he couldn't control. That has been the reason why he hasn't gone to public school since he was nine, when it all started to evolve until he couldn't help it anymore. Being diagnosed with Tourette's Syndrome, both physical and vocal, was something he never thought he would have. Having the doctors tell him he had some sort of chemical affecting his brain, transmitting nerve impulses to cause this, he had no clue what any of it meant, only that he moved uncontrollably.
His parents noticed the odd actions that occurred from their son, either randomly blurting random words, or repeating uncontrollable movements. Deciding to take him to the doctors, they found out the life changing news. Knowing his life was going to be hard, they pulled him out of school. That was the worst option so far.
"Mom, what's tourette's syndrome?"
Breaking the heart of his mother, he didn't know what was medically wrong with him.
"Is it because of the random movement I make?"
All he asked were questions, questions. His mother and father knew of this before they took him to see a doctor, but knowing it and finalizing it, that made them speechless. They loved their son, they just didn't know how to help him through everything that were to come.

"Tetsurōu! Sweetie!" His mother beckoned from the downstairs floor. "Come down here, please!"
Kuroo sat up from his bed, the tic he had at the moment was continuously blinking, after blinking a couple more times he stood up and made his way downstairs, slightly waving his hand on the way down.
Arriving down at the bottom floor, he looked at his parents who were standing at the some what large kitchen counter. Once again, he blinked uncontrollably.
Slightly sighing, "We're pulling you out of fourth grade, we don't think it would be the best if you stayed in school.." His mother tapped at the counter.
Kuroo was astounded, just because he had something that controlled him sometimes doesn't mean he couldn't go to school?
"What does that—sandwiches!—mean?" Kuroo shrugged his shoulders, blinking more than once.
His mother gasped, covering her lips with her small hand, she was about to cry. Every time she saw him do some sort of tic she immediately got sad, feeling sorry for him, pitying him.
"Sorry son, we just decided it would be better.." His father looked down at the ground, pulling the women with tears running down her face close to him.
Kuroo, only nine, felt disappointed, all he wanted was to see his friends again, he couldn't help it. He wanted to be social and laugh with them, run around, now he felt this large weight on his shoulders.
"Alright.." Kuroo mumbled, blurting out the word 'sandwiches' once more. For some reason he had sandwiches in his mind for a while, "But could I still see my fff-friends?" He stuttered a bit on 'friends', causing him to shake his head.
"Maybe.. we'll think about it Tetsu." His father said bluntly.
He was only nine, did he really have to learn the hardships at such a small age?
