It all went so fast, sighing the divorce papers, claiming custody. Going to court wasn't something Kuroo favored, his Tourette's would alway act up during the silence. He was only happy because he didn't have to stay with his mother full time, luckily his father was 'suitable enough' to be a parent. Kuroo didn't know why he still had to go stay with his mother, he thought he would never have to see her again. But since she never actually 'physically abused' him, he still had to see her. Maybe if she didn't lie so much during her part speaking, he could have stayed with his father more.
"He's lying! He threw dishes at me! Tetsurōu tell him, tell your father he's lying!"
Maybe if he could speak up and tell that she was actually lying, then maybe, just maybe he could've stayed with his father. But sadly the judge barely took what his father said, even how much he begged to go with his father.
Now he only gets to see him on certain weekends, his mother, weekdays.
"But I don't want to go with mother."
"I can't do anything else son, I'll try more. Promise."
"Don't let her take me.."
"Goodbye son, I'll see you next weekend."
He cried, he cried so hard that no more tears could've been shed. Why don't they believe him?
Once again, his life shattered for the second time. Leaving him with nothing but himself and his lone Tourette's.

Walking through the house where everything happened hurt his heart. There were still some broken glass pieces on the ground from the incident that happened a week ago, what broke their family apart.
Kuroo's mother got worse, she became horrible, more like a wretched monster eating at his life. Her new habits came into play three days after the divorce, alcohol. She became addicted to the drink that made her feel some sort of pleasure, making herself pass out so she doesn't have to feel one prick of emotion.
Kuroo's hate for his mother grew, he now longed for the long-awaited weekends to leave the disastrous house.
His birthday was coming soon, finally turning eleven.
November 17th.

Kuroo sat in his lone room, he stared out the foggy window. He now had this tic where he snapped a lot, he would say 'pinch pinch!' every time.
He had two days until his birthday, he was extremely excited, finally something he could look forwards to.
Tap
Tap
Small tapping noises came from his window, he saw small pebbles being thrown against his window. He knew the probability it would be his hyperactive friend, Bokuto Kōtarōu, but he still took caution walking up to the window.
Looking out and finding Bokuto standing below him made a smile grow across his face. He quickly opened his window, and poked his head down.
"Hey hey hey!" Bokuto beckoned from below.
"Bokuto shh!" Kuroo quickly put his finger over his lips to show him to be quiet.
"Sorry!" Bokuto whisper-shouted.
"It's alright! Why are you here?" Kuroo leaned his head down more.
"Who knows!" Bokuto laughed a bit, "Just wanted to check in!" He smiled.
