I wake up to the sound of water running from the bathroom. I turn myself and find Draco out of bed, he must've woken up before I did and started washing up. Deciding it was about time I got out of bed as well, I push the covers off me and the cold air hits me as I stand up and retrieve my toothbrush and toothpaste, a change of clothes and a comb from my trunk and sit at the edge of the bed and wait for Draco to finish.
He was done rather quickly. When he swung the door open, I saw his face rather wet and his fringe pushed back with water. His eyes were still tired from just having to wake up but he looked so sexy. I felt like pulling him to me and snogging him until it was time for dinner. Noticing that I already woke up, he walks towards me.
"Good morning, Rachel," he greets me as he takes me in for a hug and kisses my forehead.
"Morning," I try not to say too much, since I knew my breath was really smelly in the morning. I walk past him and go into the bathroom, closing the door behind me.
I turn the sink on and begin brushing my teeth. I make sure to brush it well, I don't want my teeth to turn into any shade of yellow. When I finish brushing my teeth, I change out of my pajamas and put on a long-sleeved red shirt and a pair of white pants. I comb my hair such that it was straight and no longer and entangled mess of hair on my head. I take a look at myself in the mirror and when I was satisfied, I exit the bathroom.
When I step out of the bathroom, I saw Gibbet at the door and Draco talking to her, squatting down. It was cute how he had a soft spot for that house elf. When they notice my presence, they look up to me and Gibbet rushes over to me.
"Madame Rachel, a letter arrived today and it's addressed to you. A parcel was attached to it as well, Madame," Gibbet passes me the parcel and letter.
"Don't call me Madame Rachel, Gibbet. Rachel is fine," I tell her, smiling at her as I knelt down in front of her. Draco came over to see what the parcel and letter contained. "Thank you, Gibbet," I thank Gibbet for sending the parcel and letter to me when it arrived.
I open the letter first, not knowing who it was from but from the writing, I had a rough idea. Carefully opening the piece of parchment, I pull out the note that read-
Dear Rachel,
I hope you're having a great time at Draco's house during the holidays. I really miss having you here at my place, since you've been staying here for the past three years at Hogwarts. It's like you're my sister!
P.S. I've sent a box of Bertie Bott's Every Flavour Beans along with this letter, maybe you could have some fun with Draco eating them if you're bored or something.Much love,
Esme
Going out with Blaise and Esme? That seemed like an excellent idea! I mean, Blaise and Draco were like best friends, Esme and I were best friends as well! It couldn't get any better than this, could it? Nevertheless, I proceed to open the small parcel. True enough, the small box of Bertie Bott's Every Flavour Beans was in it. I take it out and turn to Draco. He looks at me in confusion with his hands in his pockets. He snatches the box of jelly beans out of my hands and ate two beans at once before he stopped chewing.
"Oh good god, that was disgusting! I can't believe I got a vomit flavoured one! Again!", he exclaims in disgust.
"Serves you right for eating them without my permission!" I snatch the box of beans from his hands and place the box and the note on my nightstand. He just rolls his eyes at me before taking my hand and exiting the room.
"Let's have some breakfast then start on our project, okay? I want to finish it by the day after tomorrow," Draco explains to me as he drags me down the stairs.
