"Wake up, son," my wife, Astoria, called my son, Scorpius, out from his bedroom. "C'mon Scorp, get up! It's your first day to Hogwarts!"

I was in my bedroom, sitting beside my nightstand. The drawer was open, my drawer with Rachel's old things. It's been nineteen years since she passed away and there still hasn't been a day when I didn't think of her. Her perfect smile, brown eyes, her velvety voice still remained untainted and perfect in my memory. I pull out a photograph from the drawer, still in it's frame. Astoria hasn't seen this yet. It was a photograph of Rachel and I on the boat back at Hogwarts where I proposed to her. She was laughing in the photo, I was beside her, laughing gleefully as well. I take out a small box. I opened it, it was my wedding ring that I shared with Rachel. I take it in my fingers, examining the detailed engraving on the inside. Rachel Farrell-Malfoy. I smile. Her ring was still on her finger when she was buried, and mine was still with me. I guess there will be a reunion when I meet her again in another dimension. Something rolls from the back of the drawer. It was the vial of her memories, glowing slightly, as if it were still living. Well, I guess it's true - how memories live forever for mine certainly have. I miss her dearly, more than I ever have. I just wish to meet her one last time, to feel the touch of her skin against mine...

"Draco!" Astoria called out for me.

"Coming," I said, placing the photograph, ring and vial gently back into the drawer and closing it silently.

"We have to leave now," she said, taking her bag and my hand and leading my son and I out of the house.

The sound of the Hogwarts express was nostalgic, making me remember the times I spent with Rachel on the train, her head on my shoulder and my arm around her. But I was with someone different now, I was with Astoria Greengrass. I loved her, yes I did. I love Rachel as well, her existence never seems to leave me. It was like she grows on me every day, making her even more a part of my life than ever before. Scorpius's trunk was taken on board already and Astoria was saying some well wishes to her other friends she had back then. I took this chance to tell my son one thing.

"Scorpious, I want you to know one thing. Your father had a girl she loved with all his heart back then, one he still hasn't forgotten until this day. I want you to know that if you ever meet someone you like, don't give up on her. Love her. Love her with all your heart. And remember to never let her go," I said.

"Okay dad," said Scorpius.

"Have fun at Hogwarts," I pulled my son in for a hug and he smiled.

Hermione's POV

"Ronald," I nudged Ron annoyedly as he made a rude comment about Draco's son, Scorpius. "Stop that."

Draco notices me and nods at me, acknowledging my presence. "I have somewhere to go to," I said, striding off to greet Draco.

"Hi," I say.

"Hi Granger," he greets me in return. "What brings you here?"

"Nothing, just happened to see you and thought of Rachel," I said.

"I know, I see her in you. Her existence still remains in my heart, till this day," said Draco.

"I miss her," I said. "I haven't stopped thinking about her."

"Love never dies," he said, flashing me a smile.

"The ones we love never truly leave us," I echoed what Sirius told Harry who then told me.

Astoria then returned to her husband and to her son. I bid a silent goodbye to Draco before I returned to Harry, Ron and Ginny. Rose was already aboard the Hogwarts express, with Albus and James. The three of them reminded me so much of the three of us, Harry, Ron and I.

The train let out a sounding scream as she engines powered up once again. It accelerated, noses pressed up against the window in goodbye. Who knows what would happen to these young wizards? It's just the beginning for some of them, a beginning of a new chapter in their life.
