After Aife watched Gally, from a distance, lock Thomas in the slammer, she decided to bring him some food. It's the least she could do considering everything that's went down within the last couple of days. She made her way over and she noticed the raven haired boy immediately got defensive, "Who's there?!"

"It's just me." Aife held her hands up in surrender, he let out a sigh of relieve as the girl crouched down and looked down at him. "Sorry, Aife." He apologized. She simply waved him off and threw a bag of bread down towards him. He practically scrambled towards it and began to chow down on it.

"ahh," He moaned in relieve at the fact that he finally was getting food in his system, "Thanks, Aife." He said and she nodded in response with a grin.

"No problem, i'll see you first thing in the morning." She gave a sharp nod, which he returned, and went to check on chuck.

Aife found his silhouette sitting on a log as he was examining something in his hands, "Hey Chuckie."

"Hey, mom." He said jokingly with a grin and she let out a small laugh through her nose.

"What do you got there?" Aife jerked her head towards the object he had in his grasp. He turned to the older girl and held up a small wooden figure that he had carved out.

"Woah, that came out pretty damn good." She nodded and gave him a smirk, "What's that for?"

"It's for my parents." He said and she cocked her head to the side slightly.

"You're remembering you're parents?" The girls voice was gentle, she only uses that tone with him and occasionally when other boys need reassurance. Of course, he knows that and swore to never say a nothing about how soft she gets around him.

"No. Well, i mean, i know i must have them," He shrugged, his flushed cheeks were full on display and were being reflected upon by the fire. "And wherever they are i'm sure they miss me, but, i cant miss them because i don't remember them." He sighed and she felt her features soften at the young boy that sat next to her.

He looked out into the distance towards the maze and pinched his eyebrows together, "What do you think you're going to find out there tomorrow?"

"Honestly? I don't know," She said truthfully said to him, "But if there is a way out, Chuck, I'm gonna find it. We will, together." Aife spoke with pure determination in her voice.
