Natalie's POV
"I know you're a Jedi." He said. My mouth dropped. "How, how..." I stuttered and he held up his hand. "The force radiates around everything, but when someone is force sensitive, you can feel the power radiate around you. Natalie, you are one of the most force-sensitive people I have seen since my master's. When I walked onto your ship you could feel the power radiate around me, could you not?" I nodded slowly. "But when I saw you. You could see the power. The force moving around you so fast, that the naked eye could not see. Your untapped power...once you are able to control it, you will be the most powerful Jedi out there. I would like to help you, train you."
Ezra acted almost child-like even though his words seemed wise, he was acting like a little kid, excited, passionate, and enthusiastic. "You would have to talk to Lea first, she is the one who needed you first. I could not disobey my mom." His eyes widened and he jumped up. "No way! You're-"
"Shhhhhh!" Frantically shushing him, I got him to lower his voice. "You're the unknown daughter of Lea." I nodded. "They call me the unknown soldier. I lost my memory and crashed off of the Finalizer. Long behold I got my memories back and told myself I am going to never work for the First order again. No one besides you, Lea, and the Mandalorians know I am a Jedi or an Organa-solo."
He nodded. "I will keep your secret. But yet, I will ask her if you can train with me. I will not be as good as my master, but he will guide me." His eyes turned sad. I couldn't help but feel pity for him. "Wh-what uh, happened to your master?" I asked softly. Whatever had happened, it must have really impacted him one way or another. "He died saving me and the crew...I was only a teenager back then but he was like my father. My actual parents were captured by the empire and died in an escape attempt."
"Kanan was like a father to me. He was the one who decided to train me, even though I was a pain in the ass." he smiled a bit before scooting over to me again. Putting his large hands on my shoulder he laid me down and placed them on my stomach and ribs, letting the force flow through him to heal my wounds. Its pulsing flow was warm and stung just a tiny bit. It hurt, yeah but a good pain, the one when you know it's working. "There." He lifted his hands. I smiled and thanked him. "And my shoulder?" I asked. "Will that work or no." He shook his head, tracing a finger on the perimeter of my good shoulder.
"Your tendons, I don't know-how, are almost completely torn around your shoulder blade, split down the middle. Then it completely dislocated, which we will have to manually pop into place, the force will only heal the pain. It will be a manual job for when you get back to your base." I nodded and we stood. His childish demeanor coming out again. "Do you have any food? I'm hungry." Showing him the pantry I wished him luck since I couldn't find anything myself on a normal day.
I walked back out to where the rest were and met up with Poe and Zeb who were comparing explosives, and BB-8 was talking to another droid who I had never seen before. He was a cylinder with an angled head. The top of his body was a faded orange with a yellow stripe down his side. There were many scratches and his pain wheels were squeaky and loud as he zoomed around with BB-8.
"Hey, guys," I said softly. They smiled up at me and Poe immediately stood, wrapping me in a hug. "Ah! Arm!" I yelped as he placed a sorry hand on my shoulder. Sitting down I just wrapped myself in their conversation. Sitting quietly listening to them talk was lulling me into a much-needed nap. Excusing myself I went to the cockpit, sitting behind Chewie I curled up in the seat. Beaumont was talking with Sabene and Hera in another room so it was quiet.
Chewie growled and I smiled. "Yeah, I'm just tired that's all." He nodded and my eyes slowly started to close before his big furry arms wrapped around me, lifting me onto his big lap. Curling into him, listening to my best friend's large heartbeat, I fell into a deep sleep. But my dreams were less than happy.
