Natalie's Pov.

Once we were inside, Chewie flew us out along with Beaumont. Finn and Rose went to man the guns as Poe carried me to his room. "I need to help them." I groaned as I saw a TIE shoot down an X-wing. "There are too many of them! We need to help Poe!" I cried out as he tried to force me back down. "They will be fine." He said and turned to grab my medkit. It started to call me again, the force, it was all I could hear, its whispers guided my hand to the pocket where the com was located. It got louder as I held it and I jumped to my feet. Sprinting out the door to the front to the Cockpit, I put the back end into a little slot I found, that would connect to the Falcon. Then, I pressed the call button.

"Hello!" I shouted. "Is anyone on the other side of this com?" There was a moment of static, and then a returning beep came along. "This com was supposed to be down years ago, how did you come across it." A rasp, husky voice said. "Lea sent me onto the Finalizer, she said that you would be the last hope for the Resistance!" I cried. "And we need help, please." I pressed a bunch of buttons, forwarding our coordinates. "These are our coordinates, can you help us?" "What are you doing Natalie!" Poe shouted racing at me. I slammed the doors shut with the push of a button.

"I swear, please, we are in big trouble." Tears started streaming down my face. "What do you guys say?" A softer, more feminine voice said. Then there was silence. "No..." I whispered. "It didn't work." The doors opened behind me. "Are you kidding me? What the hell were you thinking, calling someone on a random com you found in the Finalizer?! Are you craz-" Three TIES were shot down at once. "I say why would I give up a change to blow things up."A more determined woman said laughing.

"Spector Six to ghost, you got some company on your left." A softer male voice said, and two ships came flying overhead. "Yes!" I shouted. "Let's give these bastards a run for their money!" The first, gravelly voice said. "Hey there, watch your mouth." TIES were falling down left and right, the X-wing Pilots gaining more hope, as fewer of them were taken out. "Sending hyperspace coordinates!" Beaumont said, clicking some buttons, and almost instantly we all jumped into hyperspace. Rose and Finn came from the cannons and we all celebrated the victory but still close call. But the excitement didn't last long.

"Arg." I slightly clutched my head as I crippled to the floor. "Nat!" Poe shouted. He tried to grab me. "no, no I'm fine." I used Beaumont's chair to get up. "I'm just going to go to my room. Change, maybe. Oh, and stitch my stomach." I looked down at the blood before walking down the hallway, using the wall to stabilize myself. The white-hot pain came stabbing me in the head again, crippiling me. I didn't hit the ground though, because a big pair of hands grabbed me under my shoulder, causing me to yelp.

"Does your shoulder hurt too?" Poe asked softly. "Why are you helping me," I whispered, tears pricking my eyes. The tears weren't from the pain, but from being near him. "You got your evidence." He looked at me confused. "You know, being a traitor." His face fell. "Listen, I'm sorry, I really am. I was just upset that you kept that from me." I used him to pull myself up. "Well, then you are going to lose a lot of people in your life because everyone has secrets."

I walked to my room but Poe dragged me into his. "What are you doing?" I said swaying because of the pain. "Sit." He said, and I did. My head was pounding too much to focus. Poe went into his bathroom to grab something, and I closed my eyes.

Poe's POV

I came out of the bathroom with some medicine to see Nat with her eyes closed, sitting up while swaying. "Nat?" I said gently. Her eyes snapped open, fear written all over her face. "I'm not going to hurt you. I just want to give you medicine." Slowly, I handed her the medicine and she swallowed them. I don't know what she went through in the Finalizer, but I sure as hell was going to help her even if she refused it. Sitting criss-cross on my bed next to her, I held a cold cloth to her eye. Slowly, tears started to form and she turned her head away from me.
