Natalie's POV

"Natalie, I need to speak with you," Lea said. The others looked at me with sympathy before leaving. "Natalie, once you spot the man, the others will be staying for another day, and I want you to get onto the Star Destroyer your brother is on. I want to know if he is alive, and you will be the best to fit the job, you know your way around better than any of us." I nodded. "He will sense your presence on board, so I need you to get at least a feeling. One last thing, there is something on board that belonged to an old friend of Luke's." I nodded again. "It is a comlink, with a single orange stripe around it. It will be under high security."

"Why would a single comlink be under such high security?" I asked. It's just a comlink. "This Comlink means more to me and Luke than anything. If you can get it, it will mean the savior of the Rebellion." Jeez, this was a lot of pressure. I needed to get in and out, trying not to be sensed by my brother, and also get this comlink that meant the survival of the Rebellion? "Your stuff is already packed." Lea put her hand on my shoulder. "I know you can do it." "Yes, general." I nodded and turned to leave. "Oh, and Natalie." I stopped and looked over at the sweet woman. "May the Force be with you." Warmth filled me. "Thank you, Mom." I ran back over to her and hugged her, tears streaming down my face. I don't know why I had such a rush of emotions but knew if Ben found me, I would be kept there for the rest of my life, or killed. "I love you," I whispered. "I love you too." Lea hugged me harder.

"Get going before the others get suspicious." She smiled. I left to the Falcon, its beauty never failing to make me smile. Hoping on I was Greeted by Finn. "You will have your old room, don't worry, you don't have to share with anyone." I laughed. "Thank you, and I wasn't about to share with anyone. I kick in my sleep." Finn smiled and lead me inside. "Here, Lea left us clothes and food. She said to wear nice clothes when we go to the City." He handed me a brown duffle bag. It was very large, you could fit a small body in it. Leaving to go to my room, I emptied everything on my bed. Lea left me a beautiful dress for that evening. It was golden with only one sleeve. To top it off, a golden layered choker for my neck.

I laid on my bed and buried my head in my hands. I was about to see my brother, he probably would kill me, and if he didn't I sure would be tortured, and even worse than that, forced back into the First Order. I belonged with the Resistance. This is my home. A slight knock on my door pulled me out of my thoughts. "Come in," I said. Poe stood in my doorway. "Hello, commander." I sighed sitting up. Poe came over to sit next to me. "Well, what's gotten into you?" he asked. "I just am a bit nervous. Lea even knows this is dangerous. If we mess up, then there won't be a tomorrow."  That wasn't the only thing on my mind. This lie, I wouldn't be able to keep it up for much longer. With my mission Lea assigned me, this could possibly be the last time I got to talk to him like this.

"Poe..." I whispered. His caramel eyes met mine. As I looked in his eyes that were full of kindness, and love, that when he looked at me, everything that was being bundled up inside came pouring out. My tears flowed down my cheeks so fast that wiping them away was useless. "Hey, hey. What's going on?" His large hands cupped my face. "Whatever it is, I am here, listening. Alright?" Crying even harder, I leaned into him and he just held me there.

POES POV

She burst out crying. Was it something I did? Holding her face, wiping away the tears I just looked at her. She leaned into me, her small frame perfectly fitting my arms. She was shaking, and I held her tighter. In my stomach are butterflies because I am so close to her, but my heart was wrenching. Why was she acting this way?  "I need to tell you something." She hiccuped in between her sobs. "I have lied to you." The butterflies in my stomach fell into a pit. Was she from the empire? "When I landed here, I truly didn't remember anything, but after Rey used the force on me, I remembered everything, but I never told anyone because I was scared to lose you all even though I never had actually talked to you before. I wasn't a prisoner. I was a General on the Star Destroyer. I was in an arranged marriage with General Hux, who abused me mentally and physically."
