Natalie's POV

(TW WARNING! INVOLVES FLASHBACKS OF PHYSICAL AND MENTAL ABUSE)

I laid in bed for a while after Poe left. He was really sweet, and I felt bad keeping most of my thoughts to myself. I don't want to tell anyone who I was, but if the woman in my dreams is actually my mom, and the boy is actually my brother... I sat up and made my way to the generals quarters. Knocking on her door, she answered. She, too, was in a bathrobe, ready for a night's rest.

"Natalie, how are you feeling?" She asked.

"May I speak with you."

"Of course." She sat down on a couch and patted the space next to her. I sat crisscrossing my legs and faced her.

"When I came here, I saw your photo of you and your husband, it triggered something in my memory, but I didn't understand what. But then Rey and Poe took me to help get my memories back, and Rey did shake some major things loose, but then a voice cut in-"

"It's Ren." she sighed. "I know."

"Well, his voice sounded familiar, but he revealed his face to me." tears streaked down my face. "He is my brother." My voice broke as sobs threatened to take me over. "Then, a memory, you were there, and I was waving bye to you...and I called you Mama." there was dead silence when I said the word. "now the photo makes sense." I reached for the other half of the photo in my pocket. Unfolding it, I handed it to Lea.

Her sad eyes traced me, and then the photo. "I knew you were my daughter from the moment you stepped in here." Her wrinkled hand lifted to cup my left cheek. "I didn't know what Ben had said about me, so I didn't want you to turn against me."

"Ben is a heartless man," I growled. "The First order treats everyone like garbage. That's why I have always liked the Resistance. They help people and treat everyone fairly. They are good in this world."

Lea smiled. "let's keep this between us, I don't want the others to find out just yet. You should be the one to tell them. Is there anything else?"

"Actually, yeah." I slowly stuck my hand out at the table in front of us, letting the force flow through my as I lifted the table across from where we sat. Lea's eyes widened, and then she stood.

"That settles it. I will train you in private tomorrow, meet me here before the sunrise." She smiled and lead me to the door.

** ** *** **

That next morning I could not wait to start to train. I got on a t-shirt with long pants and boots. It felt good to have someone know my secret. Meeting Lea at her door, we left on a speeder to a remote section of the woods.

"Let's see what you can do."

"I'm afraid its nothing special," I said softly, to be honest, I've only picked things up and thrown them around. "General?"

"Yes?"

"What if-" The fears of this came forward. "What if I can't be as good as Rey, she is amazing. She has saved everyone countless times."

Lea walked up to me and carefully held my face carefully. "Do you know where you come from?" She asked me. "You are the granddaughter of Anakin Skywalker, also known as Darth Vadar, you are the Neice of Luke Skywalker, the most renowned Jedi. Lastly, you are my daughter, and I know you can do this. You are not just a Solo. You, my child, you are a Skywalker." She smiled at me and I smiled back.

"Mom..." I whispered. The word felt weird on my tongue, It was one I hadn't used in a long, long time. It got Lea to smile even more.

"Mom..." She echoed. "I like the sound of that." Giving her a hug, we walked further into the woods to a nice clearing, overlooking an ocean. "Peaceful, isn't it?" She wasn't really asking me, it was more of a rhetorical question as if she was talking to someone who wasn't here. "Now." She sighed and turned back to me. "Let's see what you can do."
