CHAPTER 7: Lake Party

•NATSU'S P.O.V.•
"Let's go guys!" Lucy exclaimed. I felt her foot poke my face. I stood up quickly and followed everyone else out the door.
"Aye sir!" I said, rubbing the back of my head. Once we were outside, I took in a breath of air. What a beautiful day, I thought. I looked at everyone else heading for the lake. Erza was wearing her black bikini, Mira was wearing a purple polka dotted bikini, Levy was wearing an orange bikini with light orange ruffles around her waist. Gray wore his black swim shorts, Gajeel wore shiny silver ones, and I wore my red swim shorts with black flames at the bottom. Lucy and Levy grabbed rafts and put them in the water. They lay on them and slowly floated to deeper water. Gajeel sat on the dock and Erza and Mira put out towels on the sand and lay on them.
"Race ya hot-head." I heard Grays disgusting voice from behind me.
"As you wish, popsicle face." I said bracing myself for the cold water. We sprinted towards the cold water and splashed into it. I resurfaced to see Erza and Mira glaring at us, a dark ominous aura behind them. They were dripping wet, and that's when I realized... We splashed them.
"Swim for your life!!" I screamed at Gray as they charged at us. Shit they can swim fast!! I thought I was okay when I felt a hand grab my leg. I was dragged under and all I saw was red. I'm bleeding, I thought. I can't breath. I resurfaced and realized it was just Erza's hair. Before I could take another breath I was dunked under. When I came back up I gasped, filling my lungs with sweet oxygen.
"LUCY HELP!!" I screamed as I went back under. I could hear muffled screams under water next to me. When I came back up I saw Gray in a giant bubble of water and Mira was going back to the beach. So he got the she devil and I got the warrior, fun... Then the water bubble released him and he fell into the water.
"What the?" He said confused. Then all of a sudden the water bubble took it's original form, and Juvia fell straight into Gray's arms.
"Uh, thanks Juvia." He said scratching the back of his head and blushing.
"No need for thanks Gray-sama." Juvia smiled sweetly. Gray didn't let go, they just kept staring at eachother.
"Just kiss already!!" I yelled. Gray dropped her into the water.
"Sorry Juvia!" He yelled.
I looked over to see Lucy laughing at me. I started towards her.
"You think this is funny!?" I sad smiling.
"Natzu Dragneel, don't you dare!!" Her smile was wiped off her face. She grasped the sides of the raft as I dunked under the water. I could see the raft above me, the water was so clear. I touched the sand on the bottom and said, "FIRE DRAGON'S ROAR!!" It sounded bubbly under water and I faced the sand. I shot up towards Lucy's raft. When I came up for air, the raft was still in the air, as was Lucy. She came flying back down and I attempted to catch her but when she landed in my arms, I went flying under water with her. I wrapped my arms around her waist and swam back up. We both gasped for air.
"Soo heavy." I stressed. She slapped me.
"HEY!!" She screamed. She looked so beautiful with her hair wet and her angry face. The sun shining on her like an angel. Her beauty masked the stinging pain on my cheek. We stared at each other's eyes for a moment. I never wanted to let go of her.
"Umm... Natsu, you can let go of me now." She said.
"R-right." I said looking away, trying to hide my blush. I turned around and saw Levy splash Gajeel, motioning for him to come join the fun. He shook his head no and looked up at the sky, avoiding eye contact. She grabbed his arm and pulled him in.
"Geez shrimp, you're a lot atronger than you look!" He said when he came up. She slapped him. I laughed a little, it's funny, she's so small and he's so big. They complete each other. Wait- why am I thinking like this? Gross. I hate romance. But lately, I feel weird around Lucy. Like I just wanna hold her and kiss her. If she talks to another guy, I feel angry. Is this love?
