CHAPTER 13: Scary Stories

Hello minna! So I just wanted to say plz comment anything you think I should improve on or add because I want this to stay interesting and if you have any ideas I would like to hear them! That's all for now so enjoy the chapter!
•LUCY'S P.O.V.•
I love scary stories so much! I have a good one in mind to try to scare Levy and get back at her for what she made me do in the car...this is gonna be good, I smirked. I leaned over and whispered to Natsu, "hey, I wanna scare Levy so I'm gonna need your help. When I go to tell my story I need you to..." After I finished telling him my plan, I leaned back into my chair.
"Can I go first?" Mira asked. Oh boy, I knew she was up to something but I just couldn't figure it out.
"Okay, to get this straight, my story is NOT true, I repeat, NOT true." She seemed really serious about it not being true. Maybe she didn't want Levy to get scared.
"Once there was a group of friends and they were all camping. As the days went on, they realized they had feelings for each other but didn't tell. In the end they didn't get together and never told each other their feelings!" She gasped and almost started crying, "but that's not true sooo..." She making way too big of a deal of it not being true. I sweat dropped, "umm, who's next I guess?" I said in an unsure tone.
"Mira! That's not scary!" Natsu yelled.
"IT IS TERRIFYING WHEN COUPLES DONT GET TOGETHER AND NEVER FIND THEIR TRUE FEELINGS!!!" A dark aura surrounded her and she turned into satan soul. I gulped, what did you do Natsu... He better not get hurt. Not that I care or anything I just need him for my plan.
"Of course Mira, it is terrifying, Natsu is just an idiot and doesn't even know what love is." I reasoned with her and she calmed down, returning to her normal, optimistic self.
"Hey!" Natsu whined, "I do too know what love is!" He said blushing and quickly turning away. What's with him, geez.
"My turn." Erza said standing up. We nodded and waited to hear her tale.
"There was a girl who went to the bar with her friends. After a few drinks, she realized her phone wasn't in her pocket. She asked a friend if she could borrow her phone to call her own. After about two or three rings, someone picked up. A low raspy voice laughed and then hung up. That confirmed someone had stolen her phone. After a while she decided to head home so her friends dropped her off at her front door. When she got to her room she changed and got into bed. She grabbed her phone off her bedside table and after texting her drunk friends to get home careful, she went to sleep." We all waited for her to continue her story but she never did.
"That's the end." she said, realizing we didn't know it finished.
"I don't get it..." Natsu said scratching his head. Then it hit me...
"Wait? Didn't she loose her phone?" I asked
"Yes." Erza replied, gesturing me to continue.
"So... she lost her phone, and some guy answered it, then she came home and got into bed and was on her phone. That means..." I shuddered. That was a good story, especially compared to Mira's.
"I still don't get it..." Natsu complained. I face palmed and explained in more detail to him in "Natsu" language. He finally understood.
"That story required too much brain work. I don't like it." he said. Erza stood up abruptly, Jellal still grasping her waist shaking.
"I t-think it was s-scary." He gulped. Erza's death glare towards Natsu softened as she sat back down.
"He just saved your ass Natsu." Gajeel laughed. I turned to see Levy grasping Gajeel's waist and shaking. I giggled. How cute!!
"I don't think Jellal is pretending to be scared... that story actually shook him up." I whispered to Levy giggling. I'm glad he decided to show up. He's the only one who can convince Erza not to go in a murdering spree.
"My turn..." I tilted my head and opened my eyes really wide to look as creepy as I could. I then gave Natsu a quick glance and he nodded.
"I'm gonna go to the bathroom quick." He said while standing and heading for the house. I turned back to the group.
"Once, there was a group of friends who went camping-"
"AND THEY ALL HAD FEELINGS FOR EACH OTHER BUT DIDNT TELL EACH OTHER-"
"NO MIRA!!" I interrupted, and then continued, "anyways, they were camping and it was sundown. They were sitting around a fire telling scary stories when all of a sudden they heard rustling in the woods. They decided to go check it out. As they got deeper and deeper into the trees, the sounds stopped. Every time they moved the sounds would act up again. It sounded kinda like-" they suddenly heard a strange growl/howl sound coming from the trees.
"Like that! Wait..." I paused, trying to hold in my smile and keep up the scared look. Jellal gulped along with Levy and Juvia hugged onto Gray tightly.
"Let's go check it out." Erza stood up with Jellal still clinging to her waist.
"I'll pass..." Levy squeaked. Everyone else stood up and started to follow Erza.
"You really want to stay here alone shrimp?" Gajeel asked while reaching his hand down to help her up. She gulped and took it while standing. They followed the others into the woods. I was last with Mira and suddenly I heard someone yell from behind us.
"Wait for me guys!" Yelled Natsu panting to catch up to us. I stiffened up immediately and swallowed hard.
"N-Natsu? What are you doing here?"
"Whadaya mean Luce?"
"You're supposed to be in the woods making noises and scaring everyone for my story!" I whispered in his ear. His eyes widened.
"Oh crap!" He mumbled. Wait... then who's making those noises. We heard more rustling and so we all stopped in our tracks. The sound stopped. I saw Levy grasp Gajeel's shirt and bury her face in his chest. Suddenly a giant beast jumped out of the trees in front of us and howled a mighty roar. Levy jumped up and wrapped her arms and body around Gajeel's face making him panic and fall to the ground. Erza flinched and Jellal screamed like a little girl, I mean seriously it could rival the scream I just let out, and he jumped into Erza's arms bridal style. I ran to Natsu and pummeled into him causing him to stumble backward while I screamed and grasped his waist. He wrapped him arms around me and held tight.
"Hold Juvia Gray-sama!" Juvia cried out as she leaped for him causing him to fall backwards and ended with her sitting on his back. Mira didn't even flinch.
"Elfman, what are you doing?" She questioned, placing her hands on her hips.
"Uhh I... Well" the beast mumbled before slowly morphing back into Elfman. He scratched the back of his head and smiled while Evergreen peered out from behind him.
"ELFMAN!?!?" We all yelled.
"Why are you with Evergreen?" Mira asked raising her eyebrows and smirking.
"I can explain! We over heard your story and want to scare you that's all!" He said waving his hands in front of him while giving an innocent smile.
"Why were you two in the woods in the first place?" Mira asked again, this time smiling from ear to ear.
"NO REASON!!" Elfman and Evergreen yelled at the same time. Mira crossed her arms and just hummed with attitude.
"Mmhm. Let's go back and leave these love-birds to them selfs." Mira laughed as she turned around and motioned for us to follow her. We all headed back for the campfire and sat in our spots.
"Let's make s'mores!!" I squealed clapping.
"Yeah! I love s'mores!" Natsu shouted while jumping up and down. I giggled, he can be so cute sometimes.
