CHAPTER 16: Natsu's Scarf

Herro minna! I'm going to start writing in no one's POV now because it's easier for me. Also that new episode this week was scary omg but the nalu *^* All those Ichya's were scary man! That's all for now and thanks for reading!!❤️

Lucy stirred in her bed as the warm sun poured from her window onto her covers. She took a deep breath before she opened her eyes and smelled something familiar that gave her a warm cozy feeling in her stomach. "Natsu..." she mumbled. Her eyes flew open but to her surprise, he wasn't hijacking her bed like he always does. For some reason she didn't feel relieved and part of her actually wanted him to be there. 'What is wrong with me?' She thought. She slowly sat at the edge of her bed, listening to see if others were awake. Silence. She stood up slowly. Her hair was in a loose, messy bun on top of her head still from last night with some strands falling to her face. She decided to go make breakfast before everyone else woke up. She headed down the hallway and into the kitchen. She looked out the window as her bare feet stepped on the cold tile floor. The sun was shining and the water looked as if it were glowing. She sighed and smiled, the perfect day. She made scrambled eggs, bacon, sausage, and pancakes. Once she set the table and placed all the food on it, she stepped back and looked at her hard work. There was a lot of food on the table and almost no room left for anything else. She had to make loads of food especially because she knew Natsu could eat half of it on his own. She giggled at the thought and finished placing the jug of milk and another of apple juice on the only open spots left on the table. She turned around to see Natsu walk out rubbing his eyes tiredly. His nostrils perked up as he sniffed the air. "Food..." He mumbled as he continued towards the table. Lucy stepped out in front of him and spread her arms out to prevent him from continuing forward. "No, we are waiting for the others first." She huffed as he surprisingly backed down without an argument. "Oh hey Luce, morning." He just shrugged his shoulders and walked over to the TV. Once he turned, Lucy swore she saw him smiling and blushing a bit but she shook it off. She never noticed how warms she was until now so she turned the thermostat down. "Good morning!" Mira exclaimed as Erza, Gray and Gajeel came walking out from their rooms behind her.
"Hey, why is Lucy we-" Mira slapped her hand over Juvia's mouth and nervously giggled, "silly, she is wearing pajamas because she just woke up! So are all of us." she glared at Juvia and Juvia nodded rapidly with a terrified look. Lucy was a little suspicious but she shook it off and told everyone that they had to wait for the others before we can eat.

After a couple more minutes everyone was finally awake and they all sat at the table. Everyone kept sneaking glances at Natsu and Lucy and looked away immediately when they noticed. Gray was just smirking and Mira, well do we even have to go there? She kept taking pictures of them and Lucy was getting quite annoyed. She couldn't shake the warm, cozy feeling she had though and every time she took a breath, she caught a strong scent of Natsu. "It's cold in here." Levy shivered. Gajeel took off his sweatshirt and put it around her shoulders. They didn't say anything but he kept looking at her and smiling. "Nah, I think it's just right." Gray leaned back in his chair crossing his legs while placing his hands behind his head.

After breakfast, everyone sat and talked for awhile. All about random things, past adventures, funny moments, celebrations, you name it.
"We should go to a pool somewhere," Mira exclaimed, "swim in some clean fresh water for a change."
"We've only gone swimming in the lake once but okay." Levy said looking up from her book.
"I'm game," Natsu and Gray said at the same time. They glared at each other as if to say 'you can't say it at the same time as me.' We all agreed and stood up from out chairs to go change. Mira said we would be staying all day so pack things for the pool and extra clothing. Lucy wore her white bikini with light pink flowers scattered on it as a design. Over top of it she wore jean shorts that were frayed around the bottom as if they were torn. Her top was a neon pink tank top that showed the top part of her bikini. She put on her pink sunglasses and packed the pool necessities such as a hair brush, a towel, sunblock, and a short black skirt incase they go anywhere.
Juvia wore her purple bikini with frills around the top and bottom. It had polka dots on it as a design. She wore a long flowing navy blue skirt that slit up the sides to show her guild mark. She wore a white crop-top that showed off her belly for 'Gray-sama.' She packed the same things as Lucy and wore blue sunglasses.
Levy wore an orange bikini with frills around the top and bottom also. She wore jean shorts and a loose orange sweater over top. Her sunglasses looked the same as her usual red glasses but they had tinted lenses. She also wore a big sun hat with an orange ribbon around it. She packed the same as Juvia and Lucy.
Erza had her usual black bikini on and over top she wore a long flowing red dress that reached her ankles and matched the color of her hair. It had one strap. She also had black sunglasses on and packed the same thing as the other girls.
Mira wore a faded green bikini rimmed with white around every edge and the straps were white and thin. She wore a floral sun dress that had thin straps that wrapped around and tied behind her neck. Her dress was about knee length and she wore an ankle bracelet. She had white rimmed sunglasses on and a large sun hat with a red ribbon around it. She packed the same as the others and also brought snacks and pool games and activities.
The boys all wore the same thing they did when they went swimming the day before and packed a towel and an extra pair of pants.
As Lucy was undressing to change into her suit, she looked into the mirror and froze on the spot. There she stood, staring at the reflection of her...wearing Natsu's scarf. She wanted to curl up in a ball and disappear. She was so embarrassed and that explained why she smelled Natsu and was so warm and comfy. It also explained why Mira was taking multiple pictures of her and Natsu and why the others where staring. Her heart pounded in her chest. She never wanted to face them again, they would definitely tease her. She quickly took it off and folded it up, shoving it into her bag. She decided she would give it to him at the pool where everyone would be busy and not notice... hopefully. She quickly finished and met the others in the car. They drove off to their destination, the whole while Mira was squirming in her seat. 'They have no clue what's in store for them...' she thought while giving and evil grin.
