After the whole boat incident, we all decided to take a break and go make a campfire. Lucy insisted she try making it with two sticks and no ones help. She had been trying for 3 minutes and we were all getting fed up with it. I rolled my eyes, "why don't we just have Nat-"
"No! I can do this," Lucy interrupted puffing her cheeks out and pouting. She continued to work. Natsu quietly walked up behind her and pointed to the trees, "look! A deer." Lucy's attention quickly went to the woods, her eyes searching for the deer. Then Natsu blew a small spark onto the logs that Lucy was working ever so hard at. When she turned around she squealed in delight at "her" creation. Natsu's sparks blossomed into a small flickering ember and quickly grew into a bright flame. She jumped up and down clapping her hands, her smile spreading from ear to ear.
"Yay I did it!" She exclaimed. I laughed. How adorable!! They should just get together already.
"Whatchya giggling about shrimp?" Gajeel poked my arm with much more power than he anticipated I guess because I stumbled. I squeezed my eyes shut and expected the hard ground to collide with my fragile body. I waited for it to come. I waited, and waited, but it never came. Instead I felt a strong hand on my arm and was pulled back up onto my feet. I opened my eyes to see Gajeel's face much too close for comfort, but I didn't move away. We just stared into each other's eyes for what seemed like an eternity. A perfect eternity. I didn't want it to end. He suddenly blushed and pulled away looking towards the fire. I just smiled and looked at the ground. Butterflies working up a storm in my stomach as I fiddled with my fingers. Thank god no one noticed that little... scene. Everyone was having their own little mini conversations, but finally Natsu broke the silence.
"Hey! Let's tell... Scaaaary stooooories. Ooooooooooo!" He said raising his hands and wiggling his fingers.
"Sure! Sounds fun." Mira said bouncing up and down.
"Yeah! Let's do this!" Lucy yelled pumping her fist in the air, just missing Natsu's head.
"I'm game." Gray said, shrugging his shoulders.
"If Gray-sama likes scary stories, Juvia does too!" Juvia squealed holding Gray's waist. He didn't push her away like normal. How cute!
"Yes. I will participate in this scary story telling." Erza said nodding her head. I sweat dropped, she is taking this way too serious.
"Eeeh..." is all Jellal managed to squeak out, all the color drained from his face. I felt the same way. I could feel myself getting shaky. I gulped, "I don't know, it's dark and-"
"Aww c'mon Levy! If you get scared you can just sit in Gajeel's lap." Lucy smirked. I blushed from head to toe and screamed along with Gajeel, "HEY THATS NOT FUNNY!" I laughed out loud. I can not wait for this to start, I gotta see this.
