CHAPTER 10: I Love Her

Hi minna! Sorry I haven't been leaving many A/N's I haven't had much to say. I'm not a very talkative person😑 I'm also sick today so hopefully my writing isn't as bad as I feel😷 Also I accidentally published chapter 9 before chapter 8... Whoops😅 I'll try to fix it if I can. Anyways, enjoy the chapter!
•NATSU'S P.O.V.•
Gajeel pulled Levy up who was holding Lucy. Once they were on the boat I laughed.
"That looked rough! I wanna go!" I exclaimed, hoping I could go with Lucy. Why? Why did I wanna go with her so bad?
"Luce will you go with me?" I asked. Why did I ask that! Shit, that was embarrassing.
"How about you go with Levy, she's a pro." Lucy said. I sighed, no offense to Levy, it's not that I didn't wanna go with her, I just feel like Lucy doesn't want to talk to me.
"Nah, I'm gonna go with Gajeel soon so how 'bout you go with him Lucy." Levy, thankfully, said. She winked at me and gave me a thumbs up. I smiled.
"Alright, then I need a break." Lucy said heading over to the tube. I did a mental victory dance. She hopped on the tube and I followed. She grabbed both straps and I realized there was only three.
"Oh right there's only three." She said looking at the straps.
"It's okay I can just hold one." I said grabbing the one strap. This will be interesting, I can hardly hold on. I don't want to fall off right away!
"No it's fine!" She said grabbing my hand and putting it on the strap. She put her hand over mine. Then she gave Jellal a thumbs up and the boat started moving faster and faster. I looked over at Lucy and she was smiling and laughing. It made me happy to see her happy. I didn't know what was happening to me! What's going on?
"C'mon!" She said. I looked up and saw her standing, reaching down to me. My heart started pounding. How does she do that!? I have no sense of balance.
"Uh.." I said. I reached up and grabbed her hand. I did it! I was standing!! I put my fists in the air shouting. "WHOOO!" I heard her laughing. I looked at her. I saw her beautiful smile and sparkling eyes. She looked at me and I have her my signature smile. That's when I realized what this feeling was. I love her! I love Lucy! My heart dropped when I realized she's just my partner and I know she doesn't feel the same towards me. I could never hold her in my arms and tell her I love her. Never live happily ever after with her and have a happy family. Suddenly I lost my balance and on reflex I reached out and grabbed Lucy. We both fell into the water. When I came back up everyone on the boat was covering their mouths laughing, even Gajeel. Then I realized I was still holding something. I lifted my hand and saw Lucy's bikini top... in my hand. Wait, if her top is in my hand then... Lucy resurfaced, her face as red as her suit. She could hardly swim because she was covering her chest. She looked angry and looked at my hand. I was still holding her suit top.
"O-oh, um... s-sorry! Here um... I-I didn't m-mean it! I swear!" I stuttered.
"Natsu... just give me my suit." She said reaching out with one hand.
"R-right." I said handing her the suit.
"AND DONT LOOK!" She screamed. I quickly turned away. My heart was pounding in my chest, I thought it might burst out. The boat came back and picked us up. I didn't know what to do. I was too embarrassed to talk to her. Then Gray slapped my back, "nice one dude." He said laughing.
"Hey! Did you enjoy that!?" I yelled at him. I was ready to smash his face in and burn it to a crisp. My fist exploded with fire. "You perv."
"What!? No! But I know you did." He smirked.
"Juvia wishes that was Juvia and Gray-sama." Juvia sighed. Gray blushed and I stuck my tongue out at him.
