"NOW YOU FINALLY TELL ME how you feel?" i scoffed before taking a sip of alcohol, watching as mike became upset from across the table.
"y/n there's no need to get angry over this! i'm literally trying to talk to you right now and you're not even listening!" mike expressed with irritation.
i let out a dry chuckle. "i guess your words just came a little to late. ten years late to be exact. you do realize i'm in a relationship right? did you expect me to wait on you forever?"
"y/n," mike began. "i literally broke up with el because i'm in love with you! what don't you understand?"
"all the drama boy it's overkill," i replied bluntly. "you are saying this literally a decade too late, micheal. don't be mad at me 'cause you been replaced. know your place."
he let out a dry chuckle before crossing his arms. "and you're telling me matt makes you happy?"
"this isn't about matt," i argued. "if you would of manned up, put your hand up, stand up, to tell me how you really felt then maybe it'd be different. if you spoke I would've listened, but now I'm with somebody else and he loves me too much for me to mess this up."
"but i'm telling you i want you now," he pleaded. "y/n, i'd die for you. seriously just give me a chance."
"micheal just face it. you'll never know what we could've been," i said before heading toward the door. "and that's probably hard for you to hear but there's nothing left for you to say."
"y/n, please-"
"goodbye mike."
