The city at night is still one of your favorite sights.

The shadows are oddly comforting, the silhouettes around you shifting and dancing in the night.

You stand on the roof of a random building, overlooking the city before you and keeping an eye out for your partner in crime.

Ugh, where is he?

Tonight marks one year since Touya's death. One year since you promised him you'd make Endeavor pay for what he did.

After the news got out, Endeavor Agency shut down and Endeavor himself was fired and reprimanded which is great or whatever except for the fact that his charges didn't include Touya's murder and the Hero Commission is still up and running.

Tonight, that was going to change.

A rhythmic flapping echoes through the air and you turn to see Keigo touching down on the roof behind you.

"Took you long enough." You mutter and he offers an apologetic smile. "I don't suppose 'traffic was horrible' is a valid excuse?"

"No."

You're glad you and Keigo were able to talk it out and become friends again. His presence has been a comfort to you and you wouldn't be where you are right now without him. He was still recovering from his broken wing when you barged into his apartment almost a year ago, insistent on apologizing and having a heart to heart. Turns out he wanted the exact same thing and you spent that afternoon together talking, crying, hugging and connecting in a way you never had before.

Since then, you two have gotten closer and he saw some truth in your words and decided to become your inside man as the two of you worked quietly to bring about a change in this society.

You were partners once more.

"Once we do this, there's no going back." He's telling you, the wind blowing through his hair and ruffling his feathers. His expression is one of concern and while you appreciate it, you look him right in the eyes and say, "I know."

"All right." He nods, standing at the edge of the building, his wings stretched to their full wingspan before he turns to you and offers you a hand. "Let's go." He says gravely. "We have a job to finish."
