Y/N POV

I wake up to find myself looking up at a ceiling of a place I don't recognize. I sit up to see Weiss asleep in a chair at the end of the bed. Her eyes open and she smiles when she sees me.

Y/N: "Where am I?"

Weiss: "Atlas."

Y/N: "What happened?"

Weiss: "After you got onto the evacuation airship you passed out and I brought you here so you could rest."

Y/N: "Thank you."

Just then there is a knock on the door and a butler walks in.

Weiss: "Klein, is something wrong?"

Klein: "It's just your father wishes to speak with you."

Weiss: *sigh* "Very well. Y/N, feel free to roam around."

Y/N: "Right."

She gets up to leave while I get out of the bed and just roam around the seemingly endless mansion. I walk down the hall when I see this white haired boy giving me the stink eye.

Y/N: "The hell you looking at?"

Boy: "Just a filthy Faunus."

Y/N: "What'd you say punk?"

Boy: "You will watch your mouth beast."

I march to him and activate my semblance. I then hoist him into the air by his neck while he tries to break free.

Boy: "Unhand me!"

Y/N: "You really oughta watch who you insult, because you never know who they truly are."

Boy: "I'm not scared of you! You're just a damn animal!"

I growl and toss him to the side and watch him tumble to a stop. He dusts himself off and marches off to who knows where. I deactivate my semblance and continue exploring the mansion when I catch the scent of alcohol. I knock on the door it is coming from behind only to not receive an answer. I open the door and see a chair facing the room window; I look to the side and spot a bottle of alcohol in the person's hand. I walk to them and see the person is a woman with white hair and light blue eyes. I grab the bottle when the woman tries to yank it back.

Woman: "No!"

I pull the bottle away and the woman just pouts.

Y/N: "I think you had enough to drink Miss?"

Willow: "Willow Schnee."

Y/N: "I take it you're Weiss' mother?"

Willow: "And Winter and Whitley's."

Y/N: "You need help."

Willow: "I'm perfectly fine."

Y/N: "Using alcohol to solve whatever problem you have is not good."

Willow: "When you find out your husband only married you for your name, you tend to rely on the bottle."

Y/N: "Well, time for a change of pace."

Willow: "What are you talking about?"

Y/N: *sits on bed* "Tell me your troubles."

Willow: *sigh* "I don't love my husband. At one point I did, but when he revealed the true reason he married me I was heart broken. He never loved me and only cared about the Schnee name."

Y/N: "Man can be cruel."

Willow: *slight laugh* "Yeah. I tired to make things work but he never felt the same. He ignored the needs our children needed and even missed Weiss' tenth birthday. As the years went by he got worse and did things to which I just turned a blind eye to."

Tears soon start to fall from her eyes as she wipes them away.

Willow: "I just sat and watched as he did horrible things. I should have done something instead of drowning myself in alcohol and feeling sorry for my sham marriage. I became emotionally distant to my children and let them become miserable. I'm the worst mother."

Y/N: "Trust me, you're far better than my mother."

Willow: *looks up* "How?"

Y/N: "For one, my own mother and father sold me into the labor force. And second when I had an accident they never came to check on me and instead just asked the overseer if they could use my injury to receive money."

Willow: "That does sound bad."

Y/N: "Yeah. For my first year of working instead of taking me out to eat they just sent a card and it wasn't even heartfelt."

Willow: "They really do sound bad."

Y/N: "Definitely not parents of the year."

She lightly laughs then looks down.

Y/N: "You weren't there for your children then, but you can be now. You can't take back what you did, but you can try to repent by showing that you truly regret what you did. They might not accept it at first, but keep at it and eventually they will see that you truly mean it and will forgive you."

She smiles and stands up. She then comes closer to me and brings me into a hug.

Y/N: "Uh..."

Willow: "Thank you."

Y/N: "No problem?"

She just keeps hugging me and I start to get a little uncomfortable. Luckily she lets go before I have to say anything. I take my leave and leave the bottle; before I exit the room I look over my shoulder to see Willow looking at the bottle. She shakes her head and goes to lay on the bed; I smile at her small improvement and leave her to rest up.
