Chapter 9
Izuku pov
Everyone took off towards the entrance tunnel leaving me standing there with a smirk plastered on my face. 

PM-“what’s this? Izuku is just standing there! Get going little listener!”

I held up 3 fingers and began counting down.

2..
1.
I sped off towards the entrance tunnel releasing powerful winds. 

I flew by the robots, knocking everyone over and I think some actually went flying. 

Soared over the pit, making people who were on the ropes fall off.

And finally rocketed past shoto and bakugo in the minefield, “accidentally” setting off some mines on bakugo, landing swiftly inside the center of the arena. 

I think for the first time in history, the stadium was silent.

And then the entire audience erupted into cheers. 

If my ears weren’t bleeding before, they sure are now. 

When the crowd eventually calmed down and the other participants showed, midnight once again provocatively spun the wheel. 

Midnight-“And for our next event we have...a cavalry battle! For those who do not know what such a thing is, I will explain! You will all form a team of 3-4 people and choose one person to be the ‘head’ of the team and they will hold all the points around their neck and/or head!”

Midnight-“now you all must be curious on how you’re awarded your points correct? Well it’s easy. Last place gets 5pts and it goes up by fives. So first place gets…

10 MILLION POINTS!!!”

Now you must be thinking that I’d be horrified to have that many points right? Well, you’re wrong. I am absolutely ecstatic.

I leapt into the air with a little spin, cheering the whole time like a child. Although when I landed, I let off an intimidating aura accompanied by a malicious grin. 

Izuku-“miss midnight? I have a question.” 

Midnight-“ooh~. Knowledge is such an admirable goal~! Shoot my boy!”

Izuku-“I was hoping I’d be able to be a team of one?” 

Midnight looks shocked at my questions but she answers anyways. 

Midnight-“well um, I guess that’s alright. Go ahead! Now that that’s settled, you all have 15 minutes to make your teams!”

Time skipu 15 min

Midnight-“I hope you're all ready! Cause your time is up!”

Everyone is now in their little groups and I’m right smack in the middle, a large sh*t eating grin ever present. 

Midnight-“everyone ready? No? Good. Ready….Set….GO! You all have 15 min!”

Just as I thought, just about everyone came lunging at me. Though a few were smart and started going after the other participants, like that purple haired kid.

Anywho I’m currently skipping around the arena; goin just fast enough that they can’t catch me but slow enough so they get frustrated.

I ended up summoning a sucker and munching on that while I skipped around. 

I spied todoroki and bakugos team getting closer to me so what I did was natural.

I strategically ran around so that I got them both coming for me from different angles. Todoroki sent a surge of ice just as bakugo fired off a huge explosion; both coming at me.
