Chapter 5
Time skip-first day of school-Izuku pov 

I wake up to my mothers incessant screaming. Thinking something was wrong I raced down the stairs ready for anything...except what I saw before me. It’s mom, completely fine, with a shit eating grin plastered on her adorably chubby face. 

Inko-“well now that sleeping beauty is awake, you need to get ready for your first day at Yuuei.” 

I look over to the clock on the wall and my eyes nearly bulge out of their sockets. In a flash I’m up the stairs changing into my special uniform and attempting to brush my long ass hair out. But apparently my hair hates me today so it’ll just sit in a ponytail for the time being. I double check my bag to make sure everything’s in there and walk down the stairs to grab a breakfast bar and head out.

Izuku-“bye mom!”

And with that I take off to the sky. As I’m flying though I hear someone come up behind me. I look behind me only to see red wings. I stop and hover for a moment looking for the owner of said wings. I see nothing and I’m about to turn back to head to school but I’m confronted by a pair of yellow eyes. 

Izuku-“GAAAHH!” I scream out as I slowly fall before I catch myself. 

I look back up at the person to see them barely keeping flight as they’re laughing too hard. I give them a harsh glare and take off towards school. But they start following me, safe to say I’m FTFO (Freaked The Fuck Out). 

I try taking different ways and even doing loop-de-loops to attempt to lose this person, but they must have years of flying experience on me as they always keep up. I check the time to see if I have the time to tell them off before school only to see mom had woken me up an hour early and had changed the clock, so turns out I have plenty of time.

I use this to my advantage and land on top of a building and they follow. I take deep breath and close my eyes. 

Izuku-“okay, I have no clue who you are but you’re really freaking me out with the whole following thing.” I say not opening my eyes. But boy do I get a surprise when I do. 

Izuku-“ah shit.” It's the pro-hero hawks. “Look, I know I used my quirk without a license or permission but can ya like, put it off till schools over? I’ll pay the fine or whatever penance it is for illegal quirk usage.” I’m about to continue when I notice he’s just standing there, looking at me. 

Izuku-“uhmm sir? Are you alright?” I say, cautiously walking forwards. I see his eyes following me so I know he’s at least conscious.

Izuku-“sir?” I snap my fingers in front of his eyes to see if that’ll ‘wake’ him from whatever stupor he’s in; and success!

Dadd-*cough cough*Hawks-“you’re...like me.” I raise an eyebrow at this. 

Izuku-“how so sir? Is it the wings? I mean, there’s gotta be more wing-quirked people in Japan right?” He just slowly nods his head in agreement.

Hawks-“ Yea kid, you’re the first other wing-quirked person I’ve met.” He just shrugs his shoulders. “But hey, you said you were heading to school right? By that uniform I’m guessing Yuuei right?” I nod my head at his question. 

Izuku-“yes sir it is! It’s been my dream since I was a kid so it’s thrilling to finally be able to go.” I scratch the back of my head in slight embarrassment at the memories of me as a child. 

Hawks-“Well don’t let me keep ya kid.” He goes to turn around but stops halfway. “When the sports festival comes around, come intern at my agency, okay kid?”
