"Alright everybody! Listen up!"

Mr. Jeon says a little louder for the fifth time today as he tries to divert their attention to him but sadly they won't budge. He sighs, cleaning his specs before putting them back as he eyed the students that are talking with their friend groups. He scans the whole room and noticed Ryujin all by herself like always by the window as she was drawing in a lousy way.

He somehow felt bad for the kid but still respected her decision if she wanted to be alone. At class and other places at least. (He knows that she has a little friend group as he saw them once in a mall a few weeks ago but didn't bring it up to her.)

Not too long after Ryujin felt like eyes were on her she hesitantly looks up even though she was used to being watched- but right now she felt like wanting to know whoever was staring at her. She looks around but none had their eyes on her and she was visibly confused. She turned to the front and saw Mr. Jeon smiling at her and not in a creepy way but a kind one.

Ryujin panics inside as she was torn between smiling back or just ignore the whole thing. She instead returned an awkward smile and surprisingly he caught on and nodded before looking back to the other students.

Well that was kind of awkward... At least for me tho.

She sighed in relief as she wasn't that good at socializing even exchanging greetings at someone else rather than her friends. But she noted to herself to might as well work on it. For a little.

Mr. Jeon sighed once again as he decided to slam the book at the table which halted everyone what they were doing. Everyone flinched except for Ryujin who expected for him to do it.

"Alright! Now that i got everyone's attention" He says readjusting his suit and patting the poor book.

Satisfied as he is, now that everyone was on him they quietly waited for him to continue while in the middle of walking back to their original seats.

"So, as much as you guys hate it-"

The room suddenly erupted with noises as everyone groaned seemingly knowing where this is going already with no little effort. The teacher couldn't help it but sighed as he pushed his specs properly.

"Quiet! As you have already guessed. You'll be making a four to five lengthy paragraph essay about History on why is it important for us to learn."

It's not that Ryujin didn't like it nor liked it even. She just doesn't want her energy get used up on doing stuff. But she has no other choice anyways. She just hums as she decided to dozed off resting her chin on her palm and continued to doodle on her notebook.

"Everyone quiet down! I know you don't like it but I'll be giving you fourteen days to finish it. So if you won't pass the essay by the time I'm asking for it. I'll be putting you absent for the whole two weeks."

Everyone had mixed emotions whether they should be happy or scared about it except for Ryujin who was silently amused at their reactions.

Just like that the school bell chirped and everyone exclaimed in happiness that they could finally go home.

Mr. Jeon decided to dismissed them not long after as he bid goodbye and not forgetting to tell them to their homework as one by one left the classroom.

Ryujin with few of her classmates still at the room. She gathered all her things as stood up putting on her backpack.

A feeling of vibration from the inside of her pocket caughts her attention as she slid her hand to reach for her phone. Once she got it she turns on to see texts from Yuna.
