Silently Watching You - Ryeji

Chapter 17

Third Person's POV:

It was now afternoon and Ryujin's mind was still a bit of a mess thinking again about that mysterious person. Ryujin had been sitting there staring deeply into outer space trying to figure out who that person is and what are they exactly trying to do with her.

It was History Class and the last subject this afternoon so she didn't even bother listening to what Mr. Jeon was discussing, she was lost in her world to even give a single care. One of her classmates in front of her would be totally scared when he faces her since it looked like Ryujin would stare deeply into his soul.

It was almost time for dismissal and Mr. Jeon was almost done with his lecture. Ryujin was now back to reality when the school bell rang and Mr. Jeon bidding goodbye to them. He walked out of the room as well as her classmates leaving following behind him.

Ryujin packed her things, putting on her backpack as she saw Chaeryeong and Yuna standing outside of her room.

The way Yuna was just on time makes her wonder if that girl either ran all the way here or they had been dismissed much earlier than them?

She walked out of the classroom, greeted the two as the three of them made their way out of the building.

"Hey Ryu, Heejin was chatting at the groupchat earlier if we're up with going to the mall tomorrow since it's Friday today" Chaeryeong says who was in Ryujin's left side and Yuna who was in the right side smiled.

"Yeah! Going to the mall sounds kinda fun especially since we just finished with Intramurals it was tiring so we need to have some fun!" Yuna says excitedly.

"Besides we don't want your lazy ass stuck at home all weekend"

Ryujin didn't have to think about it since its kinda pointless arguing with Chaeryeong who would most likely to straggling her any moment because of her annoying antics and she wouldn't mind coming when all of her friends are with her.

"Alright" Ryujin says with a slight smile as the two did a high five behind her head which they almost hit her.

They were walking down the path towards the school gate when someone yelled behind them.

"YAH LEE CHAERYEONG WHERE DO YOU THINK YOU'RE GOING?"

All three of them curiously looked behind them and saw Chaeyeon running towards them with heavy breathe.

"I was about to go home with the Shin Sisters, wae?" Chaeryeong asked her sister oblivious to what's happening while the Shins backed away slowly from them.

"Chaeyeon-unnie gonna whip her ass right?" Yuna whispered to Ryujin who nodded as they still slowly backed away creating a good distance apart from the Chae sisters.

Trying to avoid any physical harm.

Chaeyeon reached for Chaeryeong's ear and twisted it as for Chaeryeong yelped.

"Yah! Unnie!"

Chaeyeon was annoyed at the moment but still shot a quick glance at the Shins and smiled at them. The two smiled as well but was clearly scared inside.

They bid goodbye to the two Shins as Chaeyeon dragged the sulking Chaeryeong inside the building again while nagging at her.

"She forgot she still has practice today, right?" Ryujin says as her eyes were still at the two an amusing sight for her.

"Yep" Yuna says popping the 'p' also looking at the two.

"Chae Sisters are scary"

"Very scary..."

"You don't have practice for floorball, right?"

"No, we're off the hook for two months"

"Wanna go home and watch Netflix?" Ryujin said looking at her Sister who also looked back at her, "You bet" and they dashed their way to Ryujin's Car even bickering and shoving each other on who would arrive there first.

Little Timeskip.

The Shin Sisters are at Ryujin's room and are  currently watching a zombie film which Yuna the enthusiastic kid boldly suggested.

They had Pizza, Chips and Drinks at Ryujin's little coffee table beside her bed because Ryujin didn't want to clean her bedsheets or to make it simple she's just lazy.

Ryujin was comfortably seated in her bed, her back leaned against the headboard and eating her own chips. Whilst Yuna was either sitting properly or jumping and yelling from time to time when some gruesome scene comes up.

"Yuna-ya stop jumping, will you?" Ryujin said massaging her forehead as Yuna still kept on jumping and squealing.

Ryujin decided to stuff Yuna's mouth with pizza to finally calm her down and luckily she did. The girl's love for pizza.

"Finally" Ryujin sighed for the nth time for the past hour and they continued watching the movie. They were silently watching the movie because their mouths were full of food.

Yuna decided to break the silence by starting a bet with Ryujin.

"Hey Ryujin" Yuna informally says which Ryujin looked at her in disgust.

Yuna mockingly sticked her tongue out at Ryujin who just rolled her eyes at her.

"Wanna make a bet?"

"What's it about?"

"10$, Chaeryeong is gonna come here"

"Isn't that a bit obvious?"

"No it's not"

"Yes it is"

"No it's not"

"Yes it is"

"No i—" Before Yuna could even continue arguing with Ryujin she got startled by the sound of the door burst open. They looked at the door to see Chaeryeong heavily panting.

"I can't believe i forgot we had practice" Chaeryeong groaned as she lazily let go of her backpack and jumped on the edge of the bed.

The two were holding their laughter seeing how red Chaeryeong's ear was and she was ranting on how her body hurts from practice.

"Stop laughing you two!" Chaeryeong says groaning again while her face was still buried on the bedsheet.

"WoW" They both said in unison, both of their hands forming a W and their mouth formed in an 'o' annoying the other girl who jolted her head up and glared at the two.

"Move, i want to watch too" Chaeryeong says getting up as the two scoot closer letting Chaeryeong sit as they continued watching more movies throughout the evening and decided to just let it be a sleepover.
