Silently Watching You - Ryeji

Chapter 2

Ryujin's POV:

Finally. Class is over I've been waiting for this day to end already and just sleep in my bed. I took my bag and walked outside the room before closing it.

I had my hands inside the pockets of my jacket and my earphones on as i was listening to some music from my favorite artist LANY.

I was already at the main floor walking outside towards the parking lot where my bike is chained just at the corner.

Yes i like to ride my bike because i just want to feel breeze and the moment feels so calming for me everytime.

Bike like bicycles not those motorbike but i have one as well i just dont use at school because i dont want to stand out.

As i was almost near my bike I noticed some small graffiti on it.

Painted on the top tube i just shrugged it off and took the chains off my bike.

'I've always wanted to decorate the too tube well thanks to him i saved some money i guess'

As i rode my bike and began to pedal slowly still listening to some light music.

Our house is neither that close nor far so i just go with my bike than going on a walk it might take a while.

When i was near the last intersection before Seoul's secluded subdivision. A girl running appeared out of nowhere making me almost ran over her but i immediately made a halt.

She stopped as well shocked i might say as she was close to almost getting hit by the wheels of my bike.

"I-i'm s-sorry!" The girl says slowly that i almost couldn't hear what she said as she hung her head low.

"It's okay I'm sorry as well" i tried to sound soft since i can sense she is fragile person so sounding rude to a random fragile girl isn't good Ryujin.

She keeps apologizing clearly flustered while i keep telling her it's okay honestly this girl is so kind but i think she's in a hurry.

"Hey it's okay but i think you should get going now you might be in a hurry right?" i said as she widened her eyes and bowed again.

"Ah yes! I forgot! Thank you for reminding me I'll be going now stay safe" She says bowing one last time before running off to god knows where.

'She bows too much like we somehow were having a bowing contest' i chuckled at the thought as i began to pedal again towards my house.

I arrived at my place not 5 minutes had passed closing the front gate and placing my bike at the corner.

I opened the door and slowly put my shoes at the shoe rack beside the door. Silence filled the room when i got inside i assume Dad hasn't arrived yet.

I went upstairs to my room and placed my bag at my chair as i flopped myself in my bed inhaling the fresh and comforting scent.

A sudden thought run through my mind i recalled the girl i almost bumped into. She had brown hair almost like coffee colored and she was white like tofu. She was very soft about her words as well. I think i might saw before i just don't know when tho.

I wonder if she got scared because of me? Seeing that we had the same pin badge with the school's logo meaning she might know about my title in school?

I tried to sound soft tho i didn't want to scare her off she literally looked fragile like a baby.

I slightly frowned concerned was evident in my face.

My concerns were interrupted when i heard a few knocks on my door. I stood up and opened the door to see my Dad with some pizza on his hands.

"Dinner?" He smiled widely showing me the two boxes of pizza his holding and i nodded as i smiled back.

The things my Dad do for me is so heartwarming...

"So How was Monday for you Ryujinie?" Dad says eating a slice of paper his mouth was full.

I slightly chuckled as we both have the same habits of eating.

"Boring still" I said eating a slice of pizza.

"But have you encountered anyone today?" He asked.

I thought for a moment if i should tell him cause he might scold me.

"Well.. Uhmm i almost ran over a girl?" I says my voice started to lower word by word as Dad almost choked on his pizza i quickly gave him water.

"You almost what?" He raised a brow at me seemingly confused.

"I was near the last intersection when she suddenly appeared out of nowhere running but don't worry she wasn't hurt" I said showing him an reassuring smile.

"We both apologized to me and she kept on bowing, she was quite a soft and fragile person so i tried to not be rude as i could" i added as he chuckled.

"Well isn't it a miracle that you didn't shout at someone for once"  He laughed as i rolled my eyes.

"They were being rude to me even tho i didn't do it in the first place." I defended myself as he was still laughing.

"Yeah yeah but seriously Ryujinie you should get a friend. I don't want my baby to be lonely all of her life but I'm also not forcing you" He says softly patting my head as i nodded and smiled at him. "I will Dad. Maybe soon" and that He smiled.

"That's good to hear Ryujinie now... ROCK PAPER SCISSORS" He half yelled and i quickly followed after.

Sadly i lost to him because i was late i chosed paper and he was scissors.

"Guess I'm washing the dishes this time" I annoyingly said but in a playful tone as he laughed.

"You can't beat your Paps" He says as he wrapped his arm around my shoulder and kissed my hair.

"I'll be going to sleep now Ryujinie, i still have work tomorrow hurry up washing them okay?" He says as i responded an okay before he went upstairs to his room.

It only took me a minute washing the dishes because it was only a few. Yeah we used plates earlier.

I flopped myself to my bed ready to sleep but my mind wanders off to the mysterious paperbag earlier.

'I should just probably ignore it maybe it was just a prank' i thought as i drift off to sleep.
