Silently Watching You - Ryeji

Chapter 3

Ryujin's POV:

Another Day. Another Hell-like-Day.

Extravagant.

I woke up early as usual at exactly 5am. I did some stretches on my arms and yawned lightly. I stood up from my bed walking straight towards the bathroom to get some shower.

After that i changed to my usual choice of clothes. A purple oversize hoodie with a black turtleneck top underneath paired with black adidas jogger pants.

'I would like to thank the school for being so considerate that they allowed us to wear comfortable clothes even if we have uniforms'

After i was doing changing. I attach the school's pin badge to my hoddie and doing light make up to cover a light bruise from my jaw and brushed my hair.

'No i won't tell why i have bruise'

I looked to myself at the mirror one last time.

'i think im fine already.'

And with that, i walked out of my room going downstairs entering the kitchen to see my Dad already there.

"Goodmorning Ryujinie!" He cheerfully greets me while i greeted him back and seated myself at the dining table.

"Aw Dad you beat me to it! I wanted to make breakfast for you!" I slightly pouted at him as he smiled.

"That's sweet of you Ryujinie maybe next time" He says finishing up the food he was cooking, "But i woke up extra early today because i still haven't finished yesterday's paperwork" He says as i nodded in understanding.

He settle down the bacons and pancakes he cooked as we ate exchanging a few chats until he needed to go bidding goodbye to me.

I finished washing the dishes and looked for my phone. I forgot i left it at my room so i went back to check the time on my phone.

'5:30am...'

'Too early to be in school... The school gate opens at 6am.. So what should i do now?'

I took a seat at my chair as i opened my computer at the study table.

I watched mostly cat videos and dance covers to pass time. Speaking of Cats, i suddenly miss my babies, Byullie and Dallie.

'I hope they're doing fine in Uncle Shin's home and not being evil cats'

I sighed missing the both of them maybe I'll go visit them this weekend.

I looked at the time showing it's passed 6 already. Time to go.

I turned off my computer grabbed my bag and walked outside my room before closing it.

I locked the front door and decided to take my motorbike once awhile. I put on my helmet and closed our gate before i drove off to school.

No one has ever saw me in my motorbike before since i only use this when i go out for some important business which is like rarely.

'I'm getting nervous for some reason'

Luckily, I was the only student to arrive this early the school guard was confused when he saw me. I can't blame him my helmet is tinted black they can't see my face.

I parked my motorbike and walked towards the guard. He smiled warmly knowing it was me.

"Please take care of my Helmet and Don't tell anyone please" I practically pleaded as i handed him my helmet smiling at him.

"Sure Ms. Shin" He says putting my helmet in a safe place as i bowed as thanks and walked inside the main building.

'Sweet of him to know me when i thought only the teachers and those who bully me are the only ones who knows my name'

I walked my way through the empty hallway going up from the school's staircase and almost near my classroom.

When i opened the door i walked straight to my desk took a seat and put my bag below my desk.

I grabbed my Manga to read and listened to some music in my earphones feeling the calm and quiet moment inside the classroom.

Somehow i felt a sudden faint knock from the classroom door i turned my head to face it wondering who could it be.

'if it was a teacher or my classmates they just come in but why is this person knocking?'

I sighed not wanting to get up but not wanting to be rude as well i walked towards the door and opened it reveling the girl i almost ran over yesterday.

"H-hi I- uhm i just wanted to came by and says sorry again" She says fidgeting her fingers looking down.

Honestly how many times do i have to tell her that it's okay and oh my she's so freaking fragilisticaly cute.

Okay wtf Ryujin Fragilisticaly isn't even a word.

"No no it's okay but may i know your name?" I asked while gesturing her to come inside the classroom which she obliged.

"My Name is Lee Chaeryeong" She says with shy smile.

"Nice to formally meet you Chaeryeong. My Name is Shin Ryujin" I said returning the same smile as she nodded.

"People named you the Ice Queen here in School" She says and i nodded. So i was right she knows about my title.

"Yes Are you not scared of me?" I asked her in complete honesty as she shooks her head.

"I believe that a person's exterior is different from its interior. A person shouldn't be judged by how her exterior looks and be based from that. If they think a person looks cold in both. They're wrong, and judging you because of your looks without knowing the complete you is wrong as well. I know you aren't just a cold person that they portray because i know you have a kind heart inside the cold looks of yours." She confidently says with a serious look. Somehow her mood is quite changeable.

But her words was sincere. What is she trying to do?

"So Shin Ryujin, Can we be friends?" Chaeryeong says still with her serious look.

Should i? Dad always wanted me to have atleast a friend since he doesn't want me to be lonely. Should i take her offer? But I'm afraid i might shut her out and be rude to her.

Chaeryeong was patiently waiting for my answer but i could tell she was nervous.
