Today, I have blessed you with awkward BokuAka. Mainly fluff but a tiny bit of spice and a kish! Enjoy ^^ -P. (mass edited on 5/28/21)

"Bokuto-san!" A familiar voice rang. Spinning on his heels, Bokuto saw the person that the voice belonged to. The fluffy black hair, piercing turquoise eyes, and that slightly awkward smile that drove Bokuto crazy.

"Good morning." Akaashi said, catching up with Bokuto. Akaashi closely watches Bokuto's expression, waiting for his 'morning, 'Kaashi'.

Bokuto straightens out, getting noticeably taller and he clears his throat. "Morning, 'Kaashi! Um, my mom made us lunches." He sheepishly hands him a sloppily wrapped bento box. Akaashi takes it without blinking.

"You made this yourself, didn't you?" Akaashi asks. Bokuto blinks.

"H-How'd you know?" He asks, now frowning a little.

"Intuition." Akaashi replies, grinning. Bokuto nodded like he understood.

"Oiii!" A third voice rang in the distance. Bokuto looked toward the direction the voice came from a hair quicker than Akaashi, who was busy studying his friend's expression.

"Kurooooo!" Bokuto said, ever so enthusiastically. He ran after Kuroo, Akaashi awkwardly jogging behind him. Akaashi takes this short period of time while Bokuto is looking away from him to flush down all the blood in his cheeks.

"Morning, guys! Where are you headed?" Kuroo exclaims, head-locking Bokuto just a little too roughly. Bokuto is laughing and snorting like an idiot because he's really ticklish. Akaashi tries to stifle a laugh at Bokuto's pain.

"We were going to go to the gym and practice together," Akaashi answers in Bokuto's favor. Who was still giggling.

"Ah, mind if I tag along?" The man with the hair built like a rooster asks.

"Yeah, of course," Akaashi says, hiding the fact that he's a little disappointed he couldn't spend the afternoon alone with Bokuto. Kuroo finally releases his brethren from his wraith.

Kuroo notices Bokuto awkwardly trying to send him signals with wiggling his eyebrows. "Dude- what're you doing?" Bokuto continues communicating through eyebrow wiggles.

"Ohh... Heh, alright." Kuroo whispers to Bokuto. Bokuto aggressively nods.

"Hey, uh, I forgot that I promised I'd help Tsukkishima with, uh, read blocking. Yeah, reading blocking? Blocking reads? I'll catch you guys later!" Kuroo says, waving then walking off.

"How does someone as smart as him forget something like that?" Akaashi wonders aloud.

"Uh, don't know. 'Kaashi, let's go!" Bokuto says, grabbing Akaashi by his wrist and dragging him along.

"Bokuto-san um-" Akaashi stutters, clearly flustered again.

"Bokuto-san, wait." Akaashi says. Bokuto stops abruptly.

"What's wrong?" Bokuto asks. With no reply, Akaashi takes Bokuto's hand. So now, they're holding hands instead of Bokuto strangling Akaashi's wrist. The two blush a few shades redder.

"Oh, sorry, did it hurt?" Bokuto almost whispers, not letting go of his hand. At this, Akaashi gets strangely turned on (NOT IN THE SEXUAL KINDA WAY- i think). Akaashi nods, crossing his legs subtly. Bokuto scratches his neck.

"'Kaashi, look," Bokuto points directly upwards, "it looks like it's gonna rain soon." Akaashi looks up and frowns.

"We better get to the gym, quick." Akaashi says. Almost on queue, the sidewalk starts to get littered with heavy rain drops. The pair start to run. Bokuto laughs, which gives Akaashi a burst of serotonin. He runs faster to be next to Bokuto. They giggle and laugh together. Little did they know, they were thinking the same thing, I wish this moment could last forever.
