Sorry I didn't post yesterday! Enjoy <3

Even with the heater at high, Akaashi couldn't help but shiver aggressively while he was typing his essay for his social studies class.

Suddenly, Bokuto exploded through his door, almost unhinging it. Akaashi jumped and hit his knees on the desk.

"B-Bokuto-san?" He said, recovering from a heart attack.

"Hey, hey, hey! Wanna go get food with me?" Bokuto said, face-planting on Akaashi's bed.

"I would love to, but I have this paper due in a week. I just got started." Akaashi said, picking up a pencil that had rolled off of his desk.

"Aw, can't it wait? I skipped lunch so I could eat with you! You have a whole week." Bokuto whined.

"I really shouldn't have any distractions.." Akaashi trailed off. "Okay, fine, how about we eat here? My sister is over and she makes great yakitori." He suggests.

"Really? Kanako-chan is here? Why didn't you tell me?" He rushes out the door.

"Well, because you didn't give me a chance to-" Akaashi began, not noticing Bokuto had already left the room. He shook his head and with a little chuckle he continued writing his papers.

About ten minutes later, Akaashi was startled again but this time by a metallic crashing sound. He could hear Bokuto groaning from the thin walls. He rushed downstairs to see Kanako and Bokuto had blown up a bag of flour all over the kitchen.

"Nii-chan! Hey, uh, Bokuto and I were trying to make yakitori.." She began. Her t-shirt was covered in white powder. Bokuto somehow got flour in his hair.

"..and miserably failed, yes, I can see that." Akaashi said in pure disappointment. He sighed and said, "Go wash up and change. Bokuto, you can borrow my clothes. I'll vacuum as much flour as I can." Bokuto and Kanako went in two different directions, avoiding Akaashi.

Bokuto couldn't really hear over the loud whirring of the vacuum so he didn't hear the loud thud coming from the direction Bokuto had gone. But he did hear,

"AKAASHIIIIII!" From the guest bathroom. He immediately dropped the vacuum and ran to the bathroom. He opened the door with no warning and just stood there speechless.

Bokuto's POV

He had been used to low shower heads because he had always been the tall kid growing up, but since Akaashi's house was older, the shower head was at level with his chest. He tried to squat down a little, but he just knocked down shampoo bottles from his lack of balance.

I yelled for Akaashi, since I only had a towel on and didn't think going out like that was respectful to his parents. Not even three seconds later, Akaashi appeared at the door. I jumped, wondering where all this speed was when he was practicing.

"Hi." I said, not really knowing what to say. Akaashi looked me up and down subtly, trying to keep his focus on my face.

"U-Um, did you need anything? I heard you yell my name, are you alright?" He tried to hide it but it was plain as day, I could see a blush coat his face.

"Yeah, I just thought the shower head is a little low."

Heh, this doesn't happen often, I should tease him a little. I thought.

I stood up and stretched to the full 183 centimeters. I slowly approached him, he wasn't backing away so I continued to creep towards him.

Akaashi's POV

He's getting closer. He knows what he's doing, right? I thought to myself. Hm, I better give him what he's asking for, then.

I quietly shut the door to the bathroom and locked it. Bokuto-san looked surprised by my response to him. I closed the distance between us, trying to flush down the blood in my cheeks. It was Bokuto-san's turn to start blushing.

I gave up and got flustered. I broke eye contact and looked away. Bokuto-san didn't like that. He took my chin in his fingers and made me look at him again. It must have been at least a minute of us just staring into the other's eyes. How mesmerizing such a simple action could be.

Bokuto-san makes the first move and gently places a kiss on my lips. I twitch from surprise, although I sort of knew this was going to happen sooner or later. I melted into the kiss, my fingers weaving through his gray locks.

"And to think this all started from you trying to make yakitori," I chuckled. Bokuto frowned sarcastically.

"Awe, be quiet, you love me." Bokuto-san smiled down at me. "Hey, Akaashi?" He asked.

"Yes?"

"Can I kiss you right now?" I looked up at him, surprised, but his little grin was genuine and there was no sign of any mock.

"You already did," I teased.

Bokuto-san stuck his bottom lip out a little sarcastically. He chuckled and leaned in, gently sliding his hands down from my neck to my arms, holding me tightly. I closed the distance between us.

Bokuto's Pov

Shit, we're actually doing this right now. I can feel his heart beating so hard against my chest. Could he feel mine? I thought. I slowly wrapped my arms around his waist, I could feel his body sinking into my arms. It felt nice.

Akaashi ripped his lips away from mine. I was a little disappointed because I had just gotten used to the moment.

"I've got to go," he said and walked out of the bathroom quickly. I just stood there, wondering what in the hell just happened.

I heard the front door shut.

984 words. Sorry to the three people reading this, I'm stressing a lot nowadays and can't focus on school and I clearly can't focus on writing, sorry if there's no plot and the writing is just everywhere. I'll try to make better one shots starting tomorrow! Ones with actual plots and more spice than just one kiss. Take it easy, everyone. -P.

** Note, Kanako Akaashi is a character made up by me as one of Keiji's sisters!
