hello my latex erasers (or rubber if you're allergic;)). i am here. with my newly fixed laptop. and i am about to ruin everyone's career with a glossy new romance that i wrote today. i haven't done a smooshy gushy romance in forever. do i still know how to write them? dear god i hope so. AKAASHI'S PERSPECTIVE AGAIN. (think of those cliche shojo mangas just without the pictures lol- it gives me such y/n vibes help)
okay so basically- i put this one off for a while but this one will PROBABLY be kinda long idk chsjaThat one faithful morning that I had decided to take the long way to the academy, might as well have just killed me.
It was spring, around the beginning of April, maybe? Mother and I had just "fought" over volleyball. That I should stop practicing for something that I could never grasp fully. She had sat me down at the table, dragged Father (who was also running late) to the dining room to "knock some sense" into me.
After an hour of just... aggressively talking, I ran out of the house as quickly as I could. My vision had been so narrow that I don't remember if there were any people passing by.
I was running to the academy. My breath was ragged, but that was probably from the running. My vision was blurry and my eyes ached, that was probably from no breakfast. My heart seemed to be beating so quickly, the blood couldn't keep up.
Up ahead, I saw a sweetly familiar figure. I couldn't help but smile and want to run a little faster.
"Bokuto-san!" I sang. I saw him waving his arm in his direction. The figure snapped around and immediately opened his arms.
"'Kaashi!!" He bounded towards me enthusiastically.
The two bodies clashed together. Akaashi caught his breath in Bokuto's embrace. His arms were as beefy as ever, but he was very gentle especially today.
"Good morning!" I said, my voice sounding a lot smoother now rather than when I was sitting at the dinner table. Bokuto took my hand and dragged me along.
"Alright, so, for our one month, I was thinking about subtly matching jewelry. Like rings with our names engraved on the inside or bracelets. Although, I trashed the idea of bracelets since we play volleyball. So, how about rings?" Bokuto quipped excitedly.
"Rings sound great, Bokuto-san." I chimed.
"Also, what if you dropped the "-san"? I mean we are dating and we know each other pretty well. I don't think we need the proper honorifics anymore, if you ask me." He beamed.
"Uh, I mean if you insist."
"I do!"
444 words.. not sure where i was going with this one. was sitting in my drafts for almost a year.
