Nightstruck- Damirae one-shots (Damian and Raven)

Wedding part 1

Not what you think lol. Btw I'm just going to pretend that Apokolips wars didn't come along and rip all of our hearts out. If there is one thing I want out of 2021, its that Damirae is canon in the next universe. 

Raven's POV 

She woke with a content sigh, for once she was excited for the day. It was the day that Kori and Dick finally tied the knot. What took them so long was anyone's guess. One look at them and you knew they wouldn't be separating anytime soon. They were as in love today as they were the day Starfire crashed onto Earth. It seemed Dick Grayson just needed a couple of years to gather up the courage to ask that final question. Kori had accepted in a second and the couple had been driving the rest of the Titans crazy with their wedding preparation. 

With that thought in her mind, Raven tried to get up so she could go about her maid of honour duties but the arms circling her waist didn't let her move more than a couple inches. In fact, they tightened when they sensed her about to leave the bed. "Mmmh five more minutes" mumbled Damian from where his head rested on her shoulder. For someone who was always so cold and callous it always took Raven by surprise how much Damian enjoyed to cuddle in the morning. Most morning he wouldn't let her leave for at least 10 minutes, other mornings they would be too... occupied to even think of leaving. But today was different, they both had duties to fulfill and Raven knew Kori was two seconds away from pounding on their door to let them know they were already slacking in their duties. 

"Damian...we have duties to complete. Your father will be arriving soon, not to mention the rest of the Honorary titans and Galfore. We need to get up" Raven reasoned. Just the thought of having so many powerful people under one roof made her want to clean the entire tower for the fifth time. She couldn't help but feel anxious about the whole event, it wasn't everyday you hosted a wedding for two Titans, not to mention this would be the first time she would officially meet Damian's entire family. 

"I would appreciate it if you did not mention my father while we are in bed" grumbled Damian as he continued to sponge kisses on her shoulder. 

"Well I would appreciate if you let me go, and don't you dare leave any red marks on my neck again" She retorted. Honestly the boy had absolutely no consideration for the fact that she was going to meet his family  today and that she would really prefer to meet Batman without hickeys on her throat. Hickeys complimentary of his son. God, just the thought of that encounter made her want to open up the ground and let it swallow her whole. 

"I'm not going to" Damian innocently replied. And before she could threaten him further she heard Garfield out in the hall.

"Hey! How is it fair that the maid of honour gets to sleep in while we've been working for three hours?" Exclaimed Garfield. "If she doesn't get out of that room, I'm busting in!"

"I don't think you want to go inside Gar" Jaime slyly replied "You might just see something you wish you hadn't" 

"What does that mean?" 

"Well young grasshopper, have you watch the animal planet?" 

"If you too idiots don't cut it out, I'm going to sic my dad on you both!" Raven yelled through the door. 

"Time to go" She whispered to Damian and before he could protest she opened a portal that dropped him from her room into his. 

That was how they had been sneaking into each other's rooms these passed couple of months. Although Kori supported their relationship, she wasn't inclined to letting them sneak into each others rooms at night, after all she still had to maintain some semblance of parental control. So the young titans had devised this strategy to avoid being seen by the cameras. It had worked wonderfully, until Kori had caught on and called John Constantine to put anti portal magic on the tower. Or that's what Kori believed he had done, what the magician had actually done was teach Raven some sound muffling and invisibility spells so they wouldn't get caught again. He also made a sly comment about using protection that made Raven regret ever seeking his help.
