Moff Gideon had no idea where this Din Djarin and the 50 year old was. The only thing he had given me was a tracking fob which I usually never used because the people that I kill are always in the public view, it's not exactly hard to find them. If I was a Mandalorian running around with a wanted bounty where would I be. I pulled up a hologram that I had of a map of the galaxy as I looked at the planets.
If I was him I'd definitely go for a planet on the outer Rim. The file that Moff Gideon gave me said that his last whereabouts were on Nevarro. The Mandalorian had apparently brought the bounty to the client just to raid in and take it back. To say that I was intrigue was a bit of an understatement. It wasn't like a bounty hunter, let alone a Mandalorian to do something like that. I never met a Mandalorian but I've heard that they were very to the book.
I picked up the file that had his name on it before putting it in my lap. I opened the yellow file, skipping over the general information. My eyes skimmed over the pages as I found out he became an orphan at a very young age during the Republic Era. He was raised by the faction of the Children of the Watch. This I found interesting, as I thought you had to be born into the Mandalorian family to become one, guess not.
I looked up from the file before turning on a few restrictions for the planets. Whatever planet he was going to had to be for one habitual, had temperate temperatures, a small population, and had enough coverage. Once I turned on those settings there was only one planet left, Sorgan. I punched in the coordinates for Sorgan as it seemed to be the only planet that would be a good place to hide. I put my ship into auto steer as I continued to read more about who Din Djarin was.
I was deep into reading over the file that I almost didn't hear a transmission call trying to come through. I leaned forward, connecting the connection causing a blue hologram to stutter before coming up. "Hey Laurence." I spoke before looking back at the file. "Another job I assume." He spoke causing me to look up from my file. "Do you want to get paid?" I asked already knowing the answer. He raised his hands up causing me to close the file and toss it to the side of my ship. "This one's gonna bring in a lot of credits." I whispered into the air. Laurence caught it however causing him to nod. It was quiet between us as I looked away from the hologram of him and at the controls.
"How is she?" I asked causing Laurence let out a deep breath, I brought my gaze from the controls and at the hologram of him. "She's fine as of right now....but I need better medic-."
"I know." I said abruptly, interrupting him. "This job," I said before pausing. "It's a big one, once I complete it I'll be awarded more than we'll need." Laurence nodded his head before he spoke with a light smile on this face. "She asked about you, she's a little bit worried about you."
"Let her know I'll be home soon. This job shouldn't take long." I said before my radar on my ship notified me that I had arrived at Sorgan. "I gotta go." I said causing Laurence to nod his head before reaching forward, presumably to turn off the hologram, before he could turn it off I spoke causing him to stop, "Let me know if her condition changes, okay."
"Always will, Ducem Mortis." I rolled my eyes at the name. "Don't call me that."
"Goodbye Astraea, stay safe." I nodded my head before cutting off the connection and reaching for the controls. I steered my ship, breaking into the atmosphere of Sorgan. I scanned the planet before I seeming entering seeing that there was a village. Assuming that the Mandalorian and the bounty were there I decide to land outside of the territory. The tall trees in Sorgan were beautiful, nothing like my home planet but it was still a sight. I landed my small ship in a clearing before exiting.
The air smelt clean as I walked onto the soil. The trees suddenly made me feel small. It shouldn't be that hard to find a man wearing beskar, right? After debating on which direction to go I agreed that going North was the best option. I didn't have the fancy gadgets that bounty hunters had. There was no need to have an scanners, heat detectors, or anything for that meaning considering when I got a job I knew exactly where to find them. I saw a small inn approaching in my view causing me to quicken my pace. I walked into the room causing people to turn around and look at me. I didn't actually blend in.
