I sat down as I waited for the Mandalorian. I waited in an empty hallway by the ladder that loaded up into the Razor Crest. Mayfeld was the first person to be put in the cell. I guess Burg and Xi'an were giving the Mandalorian a run for his money. I leaned my head back against the wall as I closed me eyes, I was actually more tired than expected.
"Taking a nap." I heard a familiar voice say from in front of me causing me to peak my eyes open. "Took you long enough." I said as I saw him offer a hand to help me which I took. "Thanks." I said with a small smile to which he nodded. "Is Qin at the ship?" I questioned to which he nodded, "He almost should be there."
"You know this is nice." I raised my eyebrows at the Mandalorian as I didn't quite get what he had meant. "Capturing prisoners?" I heard him lightly chuckle before he shook his head, "No this, working together." I gave a small closed lipped smile before I shook my head, "Don't tell me you're already falling for me Mando." The Mandalorian shook his head before we followed down the hallway as we hid and waited for Qin. Sure enough within a minute Qin was passing the hallway we were hiding on. The Mandalorian called towards him once he passed us. We walked out to see him stopping his advance he had up the ladder before coming back down.
"You killed the others?" He questioned with his head down. "Mourning your sister," I teased as I knew every well that she and the rest of them were well alive in a cell. "They got what they deserved." The Mandalorian spoke after me. I heard Qin snarl before quickly turning towards us with a blaster pointed in our direction. The Mandalorian pulled out his blaster on Qin while they started each other down. "You kill me, you don't get your money."
I hummed as thought about it in my head. "Considering what you've done to us I think we'll be fine." I said as I pulled out my katana. "Whatever Ran promised, I'll make sure you get it, and more. Come on, Mando. Be reasonable." Qin spoke as he tossed his weapon towards the ground in front of us. "You were hired to do a job, right? So do it." Qin finished with as he raised his hands forward, in a cuffing position.
I looked slightly towards the Mandalorian, as he hadn't said anything. I was all down for just locking him up in the cell with the others, the New Republic would be here eventually. "Isn't that your code?" I turned back to Qin at the mention of the Mandalorian's code. I didn't really know anything about Mandalorian history or their codes. Just that they were people who wore helmets everywhere. Although I couldn't see the Mandalorian's face, I could tell that the wheels in his head were turning. Was he really thinking about Qin's deal?
Qin laughed making me come back to reality. At this point the Mandalorian had completely lowered his blaster. He walked towards Qin before cuffing him, "Alright princess you can put down the sword." Qin spoke causing the Mandalorian to turn back to look at me. "We're taking him with us." He spoke before turning back towards Qin's cuffs, tightening them causing Qin to complain.
"What! Are you crazy?" I started as I tilted my head to the side. Just as I was about to continued the Mandalorian turned his head, looking at me. But this time it was different. His body language wasn't tense as it usually was. It was relaxed. Moments like this I wished I could see his eyes, the eyes within a person could tell a thousands words. But I knew what he wanted me to do, he wanted me to trust him.
I closed my eyes before inhaling deeply and exhaling just the same. I put my katana away and looked at the two. "It's a katana asshole." I said as I walked past Qin and the Mandalorian before climbing up the ladder that led into the ship. When I got up in the ship I looked around seeing Zero, this I found odd considering he was supposed to be at the controls of the ship. I watched as the droid opened the hatch that we had left the child in. I quickly grabbed my katana as I advanced towards the droid. Zero raised his blaster towards the opening to what I could only assume the child was in. Before he could fire I swung my katana across Zero's neck. Slicing the wires that controlled him. Zero's body fell to the ground with a thud as his head rolled to the side of the room. The child looked down at his hand in shock before he looked at me.
