Part II

"No...I love...you."

As soon as the words came out of my mouth, I felt no regrets. Like, things were where they were supposed to be.

"You do?" He asked as he took another step closer, our faces inches apart. "Yes." I mumbled out "Do you love me back?" I searched his eyes, all I saw was passion.

"Mae, I have loved you since the moment I met you." He softly said whilst tucking a strand of hair behind my ear. A small smile appeared on my face.

I closed the gap between us, Lorenzo's hands resting on my waist. Our mouths moved in sync once more, he slowly lowered me onto the bed, climbing over top of me. Our kiss never breaking.

His hands roam free over my body, my arms resting around his neck. He suddenly pulled back, our breathing was irregular. He looked me in the eye as our chests heaved up and down.

"Are we moving to fast?" He asked, worry plastered on his face. "Trust me, this is long overdue." I quickly stated as I pulled him back down for more. I still had my dress on, the back was undone.

His tongue entered my mouth and I felt so light and airy. It was a strange, but glorious feeling. I wanted more.

"Ahem." Someone grunted out from the door way. We break free and whip our heads around to see Antonio and Adeline standing by the door, their expressions blank. I didn't even hear the door open.

Lorenzo quickly got off of me as I too, scrambled off of the bed.

"We saw the fight and wanted to make sure you were both ok..." Adi said as she looked between the two of us before continuing "But, you both seem to be doing fine, so we will leave you to it." She shooed Tony out of the room who looked confused as ever.

I turn my attention back to Lorenzo who stood there with his hands in his pockets and a coat of blush plastered on his cheeks. "I'm going to go see Madam Pomfrey." He said whilst walking up to me.

"Do you want me to come with you?" I asked but he shook his head, a small smile on his face. "No, you stay here and change, it's been a long night for you. I'll come back for you in the morning, my love." He said whilst placing a chaste kiss on my forehead.

And with that Enzo left. I felt happy and confused at the same time. Happy, because well...I just confessed my love for Lorenzo Berkshire and made out with him. But, confused because of Cedric.

I know I didn't love him, I never did. That's why when every time someone asked me, I couldn't give them an answer. Because my heart had already belonged to someone else.

Even though my moments with Enzo were short and sweet, I found myself wrapped around his finger. I knew that if I spent more time with him, I'd fall deeper and deeper in love.

I was way too tired to go talk to Cedric. I'll have to do it in the morning. For now, I'm going to change out of this bloody dress. Literally, Lorenzo got blood on it.

I slipped out of the gown and threw on my sweat pants and t-shirt. Climbing into bed and shutting my eyes.

What was going to happen with Cedric tomorrow? The thought made me shudder, why was life so damn complicated? I dozed off and let sleep overcome me, not excited for what was to come from tomorrow.

...

The light shone through my bright dorm, I heard the soft snores of Aisha. She must've have come in late.

My eyes fluttered open to see her sprawled across her bed. I quietly chuckled as I made my way to the bathroom to brush my teeth.

As I stand in front of the mirror, I replayed last nights events in my head. The fight, our kiss, and confessing our love for each other. I couldn't wipe my stupid grin off my face.

When I was finished, I stepped out of the room and threw on an argyle sweater and black cargo pants. Aisha still dead asleep, so I decided to leave her a note for when she wakes up.

"Dear Aisha,

I'm just heading out for a bit. Don't worry about school, they've canceled it for today. Some of the teachers had a little too much fun. I don't know when I'll be back, but make sure you get something to eat!

xo

H."

I placed the note on her bedside table and walked out the door, making a B-line to Cedric dorm. I needed to do it now.

I reached his door and knocked. I stood there for a while before the door opened, revealing someone unexpected.

"Oh, hello Helena." Cho Chang said to me, wearing nothing but a bed sheet. I was taken aback, I seemed to be fumbling with my words.

"Hello, Cho. Is uh- is Cedric here?" I finally managed to say as she turned around.

"Ced! Someone is here for you!" She shouted as she turned back to face me. "So, did you have a nice time at the Ball?" She asked me and I was genuinely confused. Was she being serious? I don't think she knows that Cedric and I are- were dating, or that the fight even happened. She was pretty oblivious for a Ravenclaw.

"Yeah it was uh- eventful." I smiled at the girl. I don't know why I wasn't mad. I'm actually...pleased.

Cedric deserves someone who will love him. It was silent between the two of us until Cedric came up behind her, with a towel around his waist.

"Helena, what are you doing here?"

"I was wondering if I could um- if I could talk to you?" I looked to Cho "Alone."

Cho stepped back allowing Cedric to come out to the corridor, closing the door behind him. We stood in the corridor and he spoke.

"Listen, I'm sorry about the dare thing, I- I just wanted to get back at Cho...but now, as you can see we're...together"

"No no, honestly it's fine. I'm happy for you." I was, I genuinely was.

"You are?"

"Yes! You deserve someone who will love you and I think Cho is the perfect person for you."

He smiled at my words. "I cannot thank you enough Helena."

"So we're ok?" I asked the boy and he nodded, turning back to his door. I walked away but before I could Cedric's voice pulled my attention back towards him.

"Thank you again, Helena. Lorenzo is a lucky man." I smiled at the boy and he nodded his head, walking back into his room.

That ended surprisingly well.

I had a smile on my face as I walked through the halls heading down for breakfast. I know Enzo was coming back for me but my rather loud stomach said otherwise.

AN: ok sorry it took so long to update but I originally had more in this chapter but i had more to write so it would've have been realllyyy long so I'm working on the other chapter rn :)
