"Home is a place you grow up wanting to leave and grow old waiting to get back to."

Going back home after being gone for so long is nerve-wracking. I was currently sitting in the parking lot of Teller-Morrow, trying to prepare myself for the lectures I was probably going to get from Gemma. Deciding to stop my pity party, I climbed out of my car and made my way to the garage, where I knew at least one of the guys was because the light was on. I quietly opened the door, smiling to myself when I noticed it was Opie inside.

"So do you feel like helping a girl out or ignoring her?" I questioned, taking a few steps forward.

"Jesus lady! The garage is clo-" Opie stopped mid-sentence when he spotted me standing there.

"Surprise," I said, wiggling my fingers in a jazz hands motion. Before I could say anything else, Opie was hugging me.

"When the hell did you get here, El?" He asked, pulling away from the hug.

"I've been sitting in the parking lot for about 15 minutes before I came in here." I answered his question.

"Everyone's in the clubhouse, come on." He threw his arm around my shoulders, leading me to the clubhouse. Right before we went in, he told me to stand behind him, so no one could tell it was me. Opie made his way over to Bobby, who was sitting at the bar, throwing back shots of whiskey.

"Hey Bobby, have you seen Jax?" Opie grabbed the beer that the prospect automatically set on the bar for him. Bobby looked up, his eyes slightly glazed over, meaning he was quite drunk.

"In his dorm, I'm guessing. He took a crow-eater back a little while ago." He informed Opie, words slurring together. He nodded, motioning for me to follow him back. We stopped in front of Jax's dorm and Opie pounded his fist on the door.

"Jax! I got something you need to see." He called out. I heard Jax curse and a lot of stumbling around. Opie moved back when the door opened and Jax stepped out.

"What could be so important that you had to interrupt me getting laid?" Jax questioned, annoyance clear in his facial expression. Opie just grinned and stepped out of the way. I watched a few emotions flicker across Jax's face before he settled on a grin, pulling me into a hug.

"El! I can't believe you're actually here." He breathed out the words. I smiled, pulling out of his arms.

"Let's get you a drink." Jax exclaimed. I nodded, following him and Opie back to the bar.

"I never asked, are you back for good?" Opie asked curiously.

"Yeah I think so. I figured it was time to come home, missed the family. Speaking of family, where's my dad?" I had been so caught up seeing Jax and Opie, that I hadn't realized dad was nowhere to be seen.

"Club business with Chibs, they should be back anytime now." Jax said. I nodded, leaning against the bar, taking a look around.

"Gemma and Clay?" I saw everyone's faces except for them.

"Went home early, felt the need to catch up if ya get what I mean." Jax laughed. A blush rose upon my cheeks when it dawned on me what exactly he meant. So far Bobby and Happy had made their way over to see me when word got around and I had been introduced to Half-Sack and Juice. I was 3 beers in when Half-Sack told me that my dad and Chibs just pulled in. I gave him a small smile, saying thank you without actually uttering the words. I sat up straighter when they walked in a few moments later. Jax quickly made his way over to my dad and pointed over towards where I was sitting. For once, I couldn't tell how he was feeling as he walked to me. He stopped once he stood in front of me.

"Hi daddy." I said, playing with the ends of my hair.
