Elodie's party outfit^^

"Good friends are like stars, you might not always see them, but they're always there."
When word got out that I was home, it wasn't long before Gemma and Clay showed up. Gemma pulled me away from everyone for a little bit and lectured me on leaving before hugging me and telling me how much she missed me. She eventually found her way back to Clay, who had gave me a hug and kiss on the side of the head. Dad was now way past drunk and was making out with a crow-eater. Jax had also found another crow-eater. Opie looked like he was getting ready to head out soon, I could tell by the way he kept glancing at the door. I made my way over to Chibs when I noticed that he was sitting at the bar.
"Not going to join in with the rest of the guys?" I asked, gesturing to mostly everyone of them.
"Nah, not feelin it lass." He mumbled, setting his beer down as I slid onto the stool next to him.
"Understandable." I told him. "It probably gets old after awhile." I continued to talk.
"Aye, always tha same ol' pussy." Chibs agreed, a laugh escaping. I blushed when I let out a giggle at his remark.
"I didn't necessarily mean that." I said in between giggles. Chibs smirked, letting me know that he probably said that to embarass me.
"I'm gonna go smoke a quick cigarette." I told him, giving him a small smile. I definitaly didn't want to get too close to Chibs. I didn't need old feelings coming to the surface. I pushed through the crowd of people and found my way outside. Once I was outside, I realized just how overwhelmed I felt inside due to all the noise and people.
"Are you alright?" Opie's voice came from behind me. I nodded, smiling softly at him. He sat down next to me at the picnic table, not saying anything else.
"I just got alittle overwhelmed." I made an excuse, hoping he'd buy it. He slowly nodded, letting out a small sigh, telling me that he probably didn't believe me.
"Are you going to tell me why you're lying to me?" He questioned, confirming my suspicions that he didn't buy my excuse.
"A lot has changed, with you guys and myself. Shit has happened here and shit happened where I was." I confessed. I wasn't ready to share exactly what I went through, but I gave a small hint that something had happened. Opie wrapped his arm around my shoulders. I leaned my head onto his shoulder, looking up at the stars.
"I'm always here for you, you know that right?" He said after a few moments of silence. "All of us, even Half-Sack and Juice." He continued.
"I know and I really appriciate it, but I'm just not ready to talk about everything that went down." I wasn't sure if I'd ever be ready to. "How's Donna?" I changed the subject to my girl best friend and Opie's wife.
"She's alright, but she wants me to leave the club. I mean I left her alone for 5 years with 2 kids, I can see why she's mad, but I love this club and I don't know if I could really leave it." Opie sighed.
"You guys will work it out, I know you two, you always work it out. Yeah you went away for 5 years, but you're back now and she knew you going away was always a risk. She'll realize what to do." I told him, trying to reassure him.
"You always did know how to put things into the right percpective." Opie muttered.
"Go home, Ope. I'm sure Donna's up waiting for you." I stood up, motioning for him to get up as well.
"Where are you staying?" Opie asked, ready to lecture me if I said a hotel.
"Gemma said I could stay in one of the dorms. I'll be fine, Ope." I explained. Opie gave me hug before heading to his bike. I finished the last of my cigarette before going inside. I said goodnight to my dad, Clay, and Gemma and went to the room Gem said I could sleep in. I didn't see Jax or Chibs, so I could only assume they were in their rooms.
