"I can't believe ya roped me into doin this, Lass." Chibs muttered, looking over my shoulder at the list of groceries I needed.
"You didn't have to say yes, I think you just wanted to spend more time with me." I teased, a small smile playing on my lips.
"Oh yeah, Lass. That was definitely the reason I said yes." Chibs let out a laugh. I blushed lightly, I knew he was just joking, but I couldn't help and wish that it was the reason he said yes.
"So why did you say yes to coming with me?" I blurted out, my eyes widen as I realized what I did.
"Ya needed someone to come along with ya and I happened to be free. Even if I had plans, I would've canceled them for ya, Lass." He rubbed the back of his neck as he spoke. "So uh noddles, that's next on the list, right?" He changed the subject.
"Uh yeah it is." I blushed, turning away awkwardly. We didn't talk all that much as I grabbed everything I needed. Occasionally, I would ask Chibs for help reaching items on the top shelf. I didn't know how to talk to Chibs as well as I did the other guys in the club.
"Your total is $345." The cashiers voice broke me out of my thoughts. "Cash or credit?" She asked, giving me an impatient look.
"Credit." I answered shortly. Chibs was already putting the grocery bags in the cart. She handed me my receipt before turning her attention to the next customer.

"Thanks for the help, Chibs." I smiled at him. He had come home with me to help unload the groceries and put them away. Now I was the TM, dropping him off.
"No problem, Lass. Ya coming in for a beer?" He asked, leaning down to look in my car. I looked down at my phone to check the time.
"One beer." I said, getting out of the car.
"Of course, can't have ya driving home drunk." Chibs said, holding the door to the clubhouse open for me. The view of the bar I had walking in wasn't much different from when I was younger. Dad was talking up another crow-eater and Bobby was close to third base with another girl on the couch. I figured Jax was probably visiting Abel and Opie was almost definitely with Donna and the kiddos.
"Aye Half-Sack, two beers." Chibs said, sitting down at the bar. I watched Half-Sack grab two beers before placing them in front of Chibs and I.
"How's it feel being back home?" He asked, sipping his beer. I smiled, I loved being home.
"It feels great, I really missed this little town." I wasn't lying, the ten years I was gone really made me realize just how much I loved Charming. "Really missed my dad and the rest of you guys too." I continued, a light blush formed across my cheeks.
"We all missed ya too." Chibs said, drinking the rest of his beer, ordering a new one right after. I blushed a little harder, but tried telling myself that it didn't mean anything, he was speaking for everyone. I took the last sip of my beer, placing the glass on the counter top.
"I'll walk ya to your car." Chibs said, standing up. I decided against interrupting my dad to say goodbye and followed Chibs to my car,
"I'll see you around Chibs." I smiled at the Scottish man softly.
