Elodie
I sat in Gemma's office, watching her as she shifted through paperwork. Gemma stopped and looked up, raising her eyebrow.
"Can I help you, baby?" She asked, taking off her glasses. I smiled slightly, she was always using baby as a term of endearment.
"D-Do you think Opie is a rat?" I asked. It had been weighing on my mind more since Opie showed up here.
"Honestly baby I don't. I'm sure he's in there clearing everything up." Gemma tried to reassure me. I nodded, looking down at my hands. Opie had showed up about twenty minutes ago and they immediately called church.
"I-I hope so." I murmured, looking back up at her.
"Looks like the guys are done." Gemma pointed out. I quickly turned to see the guys making their way out of the clubhouse.
"I'm gonna go see Chibs." I told Gemma, who gave me a quick nod, waving her hand. I made my way over to him, trying not to fasten my pace. Once I got to him, Chibs wasted no time wrapping his arms around me. I leaned into embrace, looking up at him.
"Is everything all figured out?" I asked, just wanting to know if Opie explained everything.
"Aye love, I'm pretty certain that everything is all set now." He said, his accent thick. I let out a relieved sigh, my fingers grasping his shirt. I felt his whole body relax as we hugged.
"Have I told you how much I love your accent?" I giggled, pulling back.
"Oh ya do, do ya?" A cheeky smile formed on his lips. I nodded, leaning up to kiss him.
"Oh come on." I heard my dad groan from behind us. I pulled away, a blush spreading across my cheeks as I realized we were still in the parking lot.
"Sorry dad." I turned around to face him.
"Yeah, maybe not do that around me." Dad said, shaking his head. I looked back at Chibs, who only shrugged and smirked.
"She's ma ol' lady Tiggy." Chibs teased, throwing his arm around me. Dad didn't say anything, just pointed at us and walked away.
"Chibs!" I exclaimed, turning around and slapping his chest.
"Ouch lass. That really hurts." He laughed, mocking a hurt expression.
"That was so embarrassing!" I told him, a small laugh escaping from my lips.
"It's fine, lass. I'm sure your da will forget about it by the time of tha party tonight." Chibs assured me, cupping my face and kissing me quickly. I nodded, telling him to get to work.
<<Time skip>>
I smiled as I looked at everyone's faces. We were all at Jax's for Abel's homecoming party. Everyone was talking and laughing, it felt like we were all a normal family. It was nice, even if it wouldn't last. I sat on Chibs's lap as it was quite crowded in the living room. I let out a small giggle when I felt Chibs start rubbing my back.
"That feels nice." I told him, taking a sip of the beer I was drinking. He didn't say anything, just smirked and continued. I turned my attention to Donna and started a conversation with her. We got a long great, and other than Jax and Opie, she was one of my best friends.
"Hey you ready?" Opie asked, looking over at Kenny and Ellie, who were clearly tired. Donna nodded, bidding goodbye.
Eventually, it died down and people were starting to get ready, when Unser called with news that would change how everything was going to happen.
