"You may not end up where you thought you would, but you'll end up where you belong."
I had just finished an interview to be a 2nd grade teacher at the only elementary school in Charming and I was fairly confident that I could get the job if they were able to look past my last name. Now that I had gotten the interview out of the way, I was able to stop by the clubhouse and then go grocery shopping. I hoped Gemma wasn't too busy, maybe she'd go with me.

"Hey Bobby." I greeted, kissing his cheek and taking a piece of banana bread.
"Elle, what's happening for you today?" He smiled, setting down some muffins next to the bread.
"I had a job interview at the elementary school, I thought I'd stop by before going grocery shopping." I explained, leaning against the counter.
"How'd the interview go?" Dad asked, coming into the room, kissing my forehead.
"Good, I should know for sure if I got the job next week sometime." I beamed, smiling up at him.
"That's great, doll." Dad ruffled my hair as Bobby told me that I probably would get hired. I huffed as I tried to fix my hair, glaring at dad.
"I didn't miss you doing that." I complained, before telling Bobby thank you. "Is Gem here?" I asked.
"Nah, she's up at the hospital with Abel." Dad informed me. I sighed before perking up hopefully.
"Wanna go grocery shopping with me?" I asked, looking at dad, but was really asking both him and Bobby.
"Can't doll, club business today." He muttered, grabbing a muffin and leaving the room.
"Everyone got club business?" I asked Bobby. He gave me a knowing look.
"We can probably spare Chibs." Clay muttered, grabbing a cup of coffee.
"He's in the other room." Bobby laughed at the look on my face.
"It's fine, I'll just go alone." I sighed, finishing my bread.
"No, we've got beef with the Mayans, don't want you out and about alone." Clay informed me, not giving me a choice. I huffed as I made my way to find Chibs.
