Elodie's outfit^^
Elodie
"You will always be one of my best friends"
I had bribed my dad and a couple other members of the club with beer and pizza to help move furniture into my house, so I could start staying there. I probably didn't even need to offer beer and pizza, but I would've felt bad if I didn't offer something in exchange for their help. Everyone was currently sprawled all over my living room, talking and drinking their beer.
"You know I'm real proud of you Elle." Dad said, wrapping his arm around my shoulders as he came up beside me. I smiled, I was a sucker for people's approval. I hadn't heard my dad say he was proud of me since I graduated high school.
"Thanks dad." I leaned into him a little more. "You know that you can stay here anytime you get tired of the clubhouse, right? I've got a spare room for you or any of you guys that need somewhere to stay." I reminded him. He nodded, telling me that he would keep that in mind before going to grab a second beer.

"Ya all set now, Lass?" Chibs asked as he set a beer in front of me. I had gone back to the clubhouse for a little bit, mainly to get the rest of my stuff.
"Yes, even though most of the dumbass men around here are so stuck on their men don't need a woman's help attitude though." I ranted, knowing that he could probably care less.
"Ah, they clearly don' know just wha' a woman can do for them." He joked, a smirk forming on his lips. I let out a loud laugh, not expecting the remark.
"No, I guess they don't." I replied after I stopped laughing. "I should probably get going before it gets too rowdy." I said, after I finished my beer. Chibs nodded, telling me to drive safe and kissing my cheek.
"Are you heading home?" Jax stopped me just outside of the clubhouse.
"Yeah, figured I'd get out of here a little earlier than usual." I told him, pulling on my sweater.
"Think I could follow you, hang out for a bit?" He questioned, tucking his hands into his pockets.
"You know I'd never say no to that. I've got some ice cream at the store earlier that needs to be broken into." I smiled, remembering all the times when we were younger and we'd vent to each other and eat ice cream. Jax grinned, hugging me quickly.
"Alright, I'll follow you there then." He informed me, going over to his bike. I nodded, going to my car and pulling out of the parking lot.
<<Time Skip>>
"Your mom told me that you haven't gone to see Abel yet." I told him as we sat on my couch in silence, eating ice cream. Jax sighed, setting his bowl on the coffee table.
"He's not gonna make it." He finally said after a second. My eyes widened and I gasped.
"Did something else happen?" I asked worriedly. Jax shook his head, a pained look on his face.
"He was born with the same heart condition that killed Thomas and a hole in his stomach, how the hell am I supposed to believe he'll make it?" Jax snapped. I flinched back slightly before composing myself.
"You're his father! You're supposed to have faith. If you can't believe that he's gonna be alright then you might as well go down there and kill him yourself." I told him, trying to make him really think about it.
"I don't know how to do this." He finally broke. I frowned, pulling him into a tight embrace.
"You'll learn. Every parent has to learn, no one is born ready. You're not alone in this either, everyone has your back." I whispered in his ear. I could feel his tears soaking through my shirt as his body shook with sobs. He never cried often, so when he did, you could feel his relief. I ran my fingers through his hair as his cries slowed down. Jax sat up after he was done crying, quickly wiping his face.
"Thanks, Elle. I really needed that." He muttered, almost as if he was ashamed of needing to cry.
"I'll always be here for you, never forget that. Everyone needs a good cry every once in a while." I said, looking at him.
"I've vented to you enough for one night, now it's your turn." He turned the subject to me.
"I don't really have anythi-" I was cut off by Jax interrupting me.
"Bullshit, ever since you came back, you've been off. Don't think I didn't notice you flinching when I snapped earlier or you ducking out early on the first night you were back." He called me out without a care in the world.
"I was seeing someone in Tennessee and it didn't end well. He was an angry man, that's all." I finally admitted, fiddling with my fingers.
"He hit you?" Jax asked, clenching his jaw in anger.
"Only a few times, it's not a big deal. You can't tell anyone about him!" I pleaded with him.
"It's a huge deal, Elodie! This guy hit you, how is that not a big deal?" Jax spoke, anger clear in his tone of voice.
"Please Jax. I don't want any of you going after him. It'll be more trouble than it's worth." I cried, tears welling up in my eyes.
"Tell me a name and I won't tell anyone else." Jax finally said. I sniffled, wiping my tears.
"Zeke Anderson." I mumbled. "But you can't do anything, he doesn't know where I am. I never told him about my hometown." I continued, desperately. Jax looked away not saying anything before nodding.
"Are you going to be alright here alone tonight?" He questioned, standing up.
"Yeah, I'll be fine." I told him, standing up to give him a hug. He pulled me into his arms, hugging me tight.
"Promise?" He asked, letting go of me. I gave him a small nod, telling him that I promise. Jax squeezed my shoulder as he made his way out of the house. I flopped back onto the couch when I heard his motorcycle start. I couldn't believe I started to open up about him, I just wanted to forget about it all.
"You'll be fine." I whispered to myself, trying to remind myself like I had just done for Jax.
