"You have a place in my heart no one could ever have."

A grin took my dad's face as he wrapped his arms around me, pulling me into his chest. As I stood there in his arms, I knew that I made the right choice in coming home.

"I've missed you so much dad." I hadn't realized just how much of an impact my dad had or even has in my life.

"I've missed you too, Elle." Dad muttered in my ear, so only I could hear. "You're never allowed to leave me again." He added with a laugh.

"Any of us." Jax and Opie added at the same time.

"I don't want to leave any of you again." I told them. Dad grinned, pulling me towards the bar.

"You want a beer?" Dad asked, grabbing one from Half-Sack.

"I probably shouldn't, I've had 3 already." I explained. Dad nodded in understanding.

"So what have you been doing these last 10 years?" Dad questioned, taking a drink of his beer.

"Actually I kind of want to know the answer to that too." Opie spoke up and Jax nodded in agreement.

"I went to college in Tennessee for Teaching, but also got a degree in English Literature, so I got a job as a teacher, and wrote a few books. Nothing too exciting." I didn't dive into too much information. I watched my dad's facial expression to see if I could see any disappointment. I think Opie could see my anxiety because he quickly tried to change the subject.

"Has Jax told you that you're going to be an aunt?" Opie succeeded in changing the subject. My eyes widened as I spun to face Jax.

"No, you ass! Why didn't you say anything? I gasped. Jax laughed, throwing back a shot of whiskey.

"Excuse me, I've been a little busy catching up with my best friend." Jax joked.

"I guess I can forgive you this one time." I smiled. It felt great to be surrounded by most of my family.

"Well if it isn't tha princess of the sons." I heard the familiar Scottish accent of Chibs call out. Another smile crept onto my face when I saw him.

"Chibs!" I exclaimed, throwing my arms around him. I was definitely feeling a buzz now.

"How long ya been here, lass?" He asked, giving me a small hug back.

"Not to long, but I'm here to stay." I answered his question. Chibs grinned, squeezing me a little harder before pulling away from the hug.

"Tha's great news, lassie. I'm glad tha you're back ta stay." He told me. Seeing everyone, other than Clay, Gemma, and Piney, who weren't at the clubhouse tonight, but I had a feeling it wouldn't be long before I see them, felt like I was filling a missing puzzle piece.
