Glass, shattered shards
Dig into my skin,
Cuts both shallow
And deep
My injuries bleed
My translucent blood
Spills just like my tears
Invisible unless you look closely
Take my hands
Smear my clear blood
Look into my starry eyes
And watch as they dim
Be with me
As I take off
Fiery wings protruding
From my back
Don't close your eyes
Against the flame
Keep ahold of me
Burn yourself
Don't ignore
My diamond tears
As they collect, then fall
Shattered, on the ground
Don't pull away
When my skin, my life, my stories
Catch the flame and burn to dust
Dancing in the bitterly frozen air
Don't douse me
I want to burn
To be the color red
And I'm finally about to be there
So that I may now be gone
Never forget me
For I can now be happy
And don't you dare shed a tear
Thank you, for everything
For every tried solution
But as I have asked you
Once before
Say goodbye
For I shall say farewell to you
You're a blessing
And I am a curse
A curse that has been broken;
Freed
Good-bye
