Try the oceans that you keep
No more crying, not a peep
'Neath my nose I do not seek
And see the child, as she weep
Lay too far, beyond my reach
Past window sill and starry reef
Past the mountains touch rocky heaven
I cannot wait to see you again
Time to lay your head
Upon my shoulder, still
A peace to follow, as need be
Created by strong will
As days cut short fade into night
A dreamless, sleepless, starry fright
The silence of suffering beauty be kept alight
Days pass, sun rises, moon cycles and nightmares
Words flow from pen to paper
Yet you don't even know
The kind of trouble I'm in
From your bright and fervent glow
