And smell of ocean breeze
They soak in the teal and the blue
And feel of cedar trees
My sister's touches are of summer
Warm and soft and long
They reach about, absorb the sun
And linger on a different fun
But while the sand can hold heat
It holds cold just as well

She has the heat and spreads it to others
But looses it to the air
And never manages to look
And wonder 'what's up there'
Underneath, she harbors much life
Beneath her cool, unbreaking waves

The creatures die in masses
And it's a problem made from us humans
As I'm sure you've heard of in classes
Something that we choose to ignore
Time and time again
But how would we treat the earth
If mother nature was our friend?
But yet, seems so still, so calm
But on the inside, she's a ticking time bomb
Like the earth, just warming up
'Bout to go off from the loss of strong
