A redo

They girls, and I get to the cafe, and sit down. after a few minutes Mia starts talking, "ok since, you're not gonna say anything I will!" "say what?" "well first things fucking first, you kissed Ryland and then disappeared" "the kiss was fine, I just wasn't feeling myself, it kinda felt like I threw myself at him" "bitch?" Avani says to me. "you didn't throw yourself at him, and if you did then he wouldn't have went to Target with you, snuggled with you in the movie room, and he wouldn't have kissed your fucking head!" "there's def chemistry between you two" Mia says, as our waiter comes over.

He has short brown hair with blue eyes. "Hi I'm Anthony, what can get you ladies started with today?" I look up at him, "can I have a vanilla cappuccino, with some waffles and eggs please?" he writes that down "Ill have pancakes with eggs please" Mia says. "and for you?" he says looking at Avani "ill have avocado toast with eggs please" she similes at him. he looks at her "you're really pretty" Avani blushes, "thank you" he goes back in to the kitchen. "avani?!" I say, "what?" "he was flirting with you!" I put my head on Mias shoulder, "our baby is growing up" I say.

twenty minutes later out food comes, and Mia gets a text from Thomas, "Thomas says we're having a party tonight" "cool" I say. I get a text from Ryland

I smile at the text messages. "what?" Mia says, "oh, I'm just texting Ryland" "ooo" Avani says. "shut up" Our waiter comes back, "can I have the check please?" I ask. "yes, I will be right back with that" "I think me and Ryland are gonna hideout in movie room while everybody is partying"  "aww, ok" the waiter comes back with the check "I got it" I say, "no I do" Avani says, "I got it" Avani takes it out of my hands. "fuck you Avani" she gives me a kissy face and put her card in and gives it to him. "I could've paid for it Avani" "its fine" "y'all do this every time" Mia says to us. Anthony comes back with Avani's card and a piece of paper. "have a nice day ladies" "is that his number?" "yeah" Avani say shocked. "are you gonna call him?" "I don't know" "do it" Mia says.

Back home

Lessies pov

I get home and go to my room. and change into some sweatpants. I hear a knock on my door, "come in" its Ryland. "Ryry!" I extended my arm open so he could lay with me. "you weren't gonna tell me you where back?" I laugh a little, "clingy much?" "no I missed you" "its ok, I missed you too" I run my fingers through this hair. he slowly falls asleep. I study his facial features.

I can't have feeling for him, not already. we can't be together. he probably doesn't even want a relationship. at first I didn't think I had feelings but I guess it grew me. 

I move my head closer to his chest. I get a whiff of his cologne. I think I can get used to that smell, with the cuddles included hell yes!

1 hour later

I wake up in Rylands arms, I try to pry myself out of his grip. He wakes up, "hi" he says "hi" I say. "why are you holding me so tight" "so I know you won't leave me" "I'm not going anywhere" I kiss him on cheek. "how about we stay in here instead going to the movie room?" I ask him. "ok" "I'm gonna see if I can go get one of cases I whiteclaw cause they got like a hundred of them" 

I go downstairs and see the the cases, I grab one and attempt to run back upstairs "Lessie" fuck. I  turn around "Thomasssss" "Lessie what are you doing?" "nothing" "ok fine. just take it we have too many" "ok thanks" "but" I groan. "what?" "you have to admit that you like Ryland" "I don't" "no even a little?" "no" he stares me down. "fine, maybe a little bit" "woooo I knew it" "you can't tell anyone" "no, promises!" "fuck you Thomas Petrou" 

I run upstairs to my room, and open the door. "got it!"  "cool" "ok but like which is the best?" I ask him? "honestly I like the black cherry" "ok" I try it, "that is fucking nasty" I grab the water bottle on my nightstand. "its ok, we don't have drink them"

2 hours later

We just finished a movie. We start to hear people arrive for the party. I pause the movie "what if we did what Sarah and JohnB did in OBX?" "what?" "ok lemme explain, Sarah and johnB played this game called truth, so we'll just ask each other questions. ill go first"

"Favorite member of the hype house?" "Probably Nick, he's the best" I give him a sad face. "you come next obviously" I smile, "I do agree, Nick is the best"

"who's your favorite?" "I don't really have a favorite but I would have to say all the girls, but probably Mia. She's been my best friend since the sixth grade"

"First kiss story?" I say putting my head on his shoulder. "I was ten, and she was twelve, and I had the biggest crush on her. so I decided to grow some balls and kiss her." "aww little Ryland liked older girls" "guess so" he laughs, and continues the story. "So we were outside and I just went up to her and kissed her" "that's cute but funny at the same time"

"whats yours?" "I was thirteen, and it was in a play. I played sleeping beauty,  so the scene when sleeping beauty was awoken that was my first kiss" "well honestly I think mine was better" he says playing with my hair, "oh that's not the worst part, my mom recorded the whole thing" he laughs, "well since both of our first kisses sucked-" I cut him off, "they're not supposed be perfect, but continue" he continues, "since they both sucked what if we have a redo?" I sit up, "what do you mean?" "um like this" he cups my cheeks and kisses me.

 After a second it turns into a make out session. I feel his hand start to go up my thigh, I stop kissing him, and put his hand that's on my thigh in my hands. While holding his hand I rub it with my thumb. "Ryry" I say quietly, "what's wrong?" he says to me. "I know this gonna sound- I haven't done this yet" "lessie its ok you don't have to" he pulls me close and kisses my forhead.

Rylands Pov:

"lessie you don't have to rush yourself to do it" "ok" she says to me. god, I think I like her. so much. she the most nicest person ever. but should I ask her out?
