Sakura took a look at Sarada, concerned, she held Sarada in her arms, taking her from Boruto and told him, "Thank you." Sakura ran to a room to get Sarada checked out as Boruto stared at the sight of Sarada being carried away. He looked around the hospital and took a seat, waiting for his best friend to return. He sat in his chair for an hour, pondering about the recent events that took place. His devastation turned into guilt.
Boruto POV
If only I didn't throw my rasengan at her. I thought the worse thing that could happen was that her chidori and my rasengan crash together, causing us to fly back with a possibility of getting injured. Why didn't that happen?Narrator POV
That's when Boruto remembered the cause of all of this. "Nova", Boruto whispered to himself. He got up from his seat and dashed out of the hospital to look for his new enemy.Boruto POV
I will not stop until I find her. And when I do, it won't be pretty.I ran back to the alley beside Thunder Burger, where the fight took place. Nothing was there but blood on the floor. "Come on, there's gotta be something here. Some sort of evidence." That's when I saw a note on the floor. I quickly bent down to pick it up and read what it said. The note had my name on it? I opened it and it said, "CALL ME 155-362- 0174". How petty of her.
I thought for a second, trying to think of what I can do to find her. Then I came up with a plan. I pulled out my phone and dialed the number. After a few rings, I heard a familiar voice answer the phone. "Hello? Who is this and how did you get my number?" I laughed and replied, "It's me. Boruto. I was hoping that we could take a walk, dattebasa. And just chat for a bit while we get to know each other."
"Why, of course. I knew that you liked me better. Meet me at the Hokage Mountain in ten minutes." After she said that, the call ended and I placed the note, along with my phone, in my pocket. I sprinted towards the Hokage mountains instead of speed walking since my chakra amount doesn't matter that much. After that battle, Nova's chakra should already be low. Mine is fine.
I arrived at the mountains but I think she's at the top so I created a shadow clone and sent him up before me. I was going to go hide in case anything went wrong.
Nova was already there and she changed her outfit. It also looked like she had cleaned herself up because all of the blood and dirt that she had on her skin was gone. Meanwhile, I still looked the exact same.
"What did you want to first talk about Boruto?" Nova said seductively. Is she really trying to be attractive right now? At a time like this? "I just wanted to tell you that you might just be the prettiest girl that I've ever laid eyes on. And I've seen the way that you look at me. Plus, your flirting skills are smooth. I like that." I feel so guilty. Even though it's what I have to do for my plan, I still feel like I'm betraying Sarada.
She giggles and moves in closer to me, or technically my clone but you get the point. "I was hoping that you would say that. But if you felt this way, why didn't you show me how you felt while we were at Thunder Burger?" I tried not to glare at her so instead I just widened my eyes and said, "With my girlfriend right there? Never! I'd end up like you. Dead." She stares blankly at me and replies, "But I'm not dead."
"You would be if I hadn't protected you from Sarada's hits. You really shouldn't underestimate her, dattebasa. That girl has got a lot of skill, plus she is an Uchiha. Anyone dumb enough to go against an Uchiha, especially after making them mad, is bound to get severely injured. Or maybe even worse. Get killed."
Nova's eyes widened and she look... scared. She looked down at the floor and blushed before saying, "Speaking of you protecting me... thanks for saving me today." What do I do now? Should I try to make a move? Yes. Then, bam! My shadow clone attacks. That should do the trick.
I lift her chin up with my pointer finger and stare deeply into her eyes, similar to how I stare at Sarada. She's so mesmerizing to look at, but it hurts that she is badly hurt. I should hurry this up so that I can make my way back to the hospital. Maybe she's better and needs me to be there for her. And if she's not better, I would still need to be there for her. I promised to protect her and that's what I'm going to do. But first, I must avenge Sarada.
She stares back while blushing like crazy and leans in closer to me. Her eyes slowly close for every centimeter closer she gets. My heart is beating out of my chest and I lean in as well. Except unlike Nova, who was leaning towards my lips, I was aiming for her ear. That's when I whispered, "You're so gullible." She let out a gasp and stepped back. "Nani? What do you mean? I thought you liked me", Nova stated.
I pulled a kunai out of my pocket and gave her a deadly stare. Then I said, "Did you really think that I wanted to come over here to get closer to you? Of course not. I came here to get revenge. I would never, and I mean EVER, be friends with someone like you."
She scoffed and pulled out a kunai of her own. "I knew I should have never trusted you." Nova said before we clashed our kunais against each other while making intense eye contact. Nova threw a punch at me but I caught it and held her fist. I then smirked and twisted her fist towards the opposite direction, causing Nova to fall onto the ground. She quickly got up into a squatting position and kicked my legs, attempting to sweep me off of my feet.
I jumped before her leg could touch mine and kicked her in the face while holding onto the railing. Her head went back, causing her to hit the railing and crash onto the floor once again. My shadow clone grabbed her by the collar and stared at Nova in the eye, checking to see if she was still conscious. Surprisingly, she was still conscious but her chakra levels were quite low. Just a few more hits and she'll be out. I bet.
"Usually I don't hit girls but, this is an exception. Plus, I plan on doing way more than just hitting you. I plan on killing you." I said to Nova. She opened her mouth to speak and her breathing was shaky. She said, "Y- You... are not... at all... l- like... your", she stopped mid sentence to cough and a bit of blood came out of her mouth. "Nothing like my what!" I shouted to her. "Y- your... f- father." I raise my fist to punch her, causing Nova to close her eyes and flinch. "I am not at all like that old man and I never will be. You wanna know why? Because I'm not my dad. I'm Boruto Uzumaki!"
Nova manages to chuckle and says, "Is this Boruto Uzumaki? A murderer?" To my surprise, she said that sentence clearly without any trouble. That meant that I was wasting my time talking instead of fighting. I raise my first but then say, "I am not a murderer. But I am someone who will do anything to protect their friends. I tried to be a little generous and spare your life but because of you, the love of my life is in danger. Because of you! I should have just let you kill you!" I exclaimed in her face.
Her eyes narrowed and I got an idea. I lowered my fist and looked down, removing my stare from Nova. The real me created a full powered vanishing rasengan without Nova noticing while my shadow clone said, "And now, you're going to feel exact pain that Sarada felt." I jumped down from my hiding place to stand next to my shadow clone. My clone stood up next to me as we stared at her with smirks on our faces. My shadow clone formed a rasengan as well so that a Nova had no chance of surviving. We lifted our hands, preparing to attack as Nova stared back at us with a shocked facial expression.
We leaped towards her and in sync, we yelled, "Rasengan!" As Nova let out a scream. My shadow clone disappeared and I sat down across from her lifeless body. My thoughts were all over the place as I will breathing heavily. I went over to the body to check her pulse. When I did so, I discovered that she was for sure dead. Then I thought, what if someone finds the body? I don't want the people of the village to fear me, the Hokage's son and future Shadow-Hokage. I made hand signs and created a shadow clone. I told the shadow clone to take Nova's body deep into the forest and then throw her body into a lake with deep waters. After I sent the clone off, I sprinted back to the hospital to check on Sarada.
I bursted through the doors, panting and searching around the room to see only a few people sitting down at chairs, nervously waiting for news about their loved ones. I took a seat in an empty chair in the corner of the room. After about five minutes, I began to fall asleep. I guess I never noticed how tired I was from my recent fight. Just as I was about to go to sleep, Sakura came into the room and called my name.
