Sarada POV
I walked into my room to check my phone once Papa and I got home. I sat on my bed and looked up across the room to see something that I had forgotten about. Boruto's jacket. I know Papa's watching tv so he probably wouldn't notice if I wore it just for a bit. And plus, he already said that he accepted us.I put it on and felt how soft and cozy it was. I always forget how warm it is. I lay down with it on and scroll threw my Instagram feed. After about thirty minutes of being on the app, my eyelids become heavy and the only thing that I saw was darkness.
I opened my eyes and saw that I was in the forest. I was in a tree, hiding. But why? From what? I look at my surroundings and find Boruto. He is with someone. I look a little closer and I find him with... Sumire? I've seen this before. It's already happened. Why am I seeing this again?
I see Sumire moving closer to Boruto and he is moving closer to her as well. The first time that I saw this happen, I ran away and Boruto ran after me so those two never actually got to kiss. Which means that I have nothing to worry about this time.
I see that Sumire is getting a little too close to Boruto...
Their lips are only a few centimeters away from touching. Boruto wouldn't actually do that though. Right? He loves me and not Sumire. At least that's hope I hope he feels. As I'm watching very closely, I see that they...
I gasp escapes my lips and I cover my mouth. Boruto and Sumire just kissed. Right in front of me! I can't believe that he would actually do that.
I jump down from the tree and do exactly what I did the first time. I ran away, crying my eyes out. Boruto didn't chase after me this time. I guess he was too in the moment to even care.
Suddenly, I hear my name being called. It sounded like an echo calling from afar. "Sarada! Sarada!" It's getting closer. "Sarada! Sara-" I sit up and gasp for air while tears are running down my face. I look around to see that I'm in my room and my mom is sitting next to me with her hands on my shoulder.
"Are you okay? You were crying in your sleep..." My mom looked concerned and worried. I didn't want to worry her before she went to work so I just told her, "Oh? Of course I'm fine. Maybe my just started watering or something." Based on her facial expression, I knew that she didn't believe me but all that she did in response was nod her head and walk out of the room.
I spent ten minutes to myself trying to figure out if the dream was real or not. I could have sworn that that was not what actually happened but it seemed so real. I little too real. It seemed like more of a memory than a dream. I guess I'll just have to ask Boruto myself when I go over to his house today.
I reached over for my phone and texted Boruto.
S: "Hey, can I come over today?"
B: "You ready for round three?"
S: "I wasn't thinking about something so childish. I just wanted to talk to you about something."
B: "Oh no... good or bad?"
S: "It could be either one depending on your answer."
B: "Ok... I'll ask my mom now."
~Five minutes later~
B: "She said that it shouldn't be problem. How long until you will be here?"
S: "I'll be there in an hour. Start getting ready!! I expect you to be dressed and clean when I get there."
B: "Fine. As you wish."
