                  JANIA JACKSON'S POV

After all that happened me, and my mom ended up moving to Houston with my dad...

I was originally from Houston but I hated living down there.

"Get up, and go do something!!" my dad demanded as he bursted in my room.

My dad was so strict he didn't let me do ANYTHING. That was one out of a million reasons why I didn't wanna move in with him.

"Alright" I got up as I rolled my eyes, and went downstairs to get my dog Snickers, and take her out on a walk.

My mom had went to the store to go get stuff for dinner...

Her, and my dad had got back together or whatever, and I already wasn't feeling it.

- - - MINUTES LATER - - -

I walked back into the house, and I heard arguing.

I walked in the kitchen, and I see my mom, and dad going back, and forth.

"What's going on?" I asked.

"Mind your business, and go in your room!!" my dad yelled at me

My mom turned around, and looked at me, and I could tell that she was crying.

"NO WHAT DID YOU DO TO HER!!!" I yelled as I put Snickers down.

"Nothing baby just go upstairs" my mom said lowly.

"NO WHATS GOING ON?!"

"GO IN YOUR FUCKING ROOM!!!" my dad said as he walked up to me. Next thing I know he slapped me...

I was about to hit him back but my mom grabbed me, and pulled me away.

"Let me goooo!!!" I said trying to get away from her.

"Come on, and hit me I dare you!!" my dad said waiting for me to run up on him.

My mom walked me upstairs in my room, and broke down crying.

"Mom what happened?" I said trying to confront her.

"I- I told him that I was going to cook Alfredo instead of Seafood, and he just attacked me" she explained.

"Are you serious- he doing all that about some food"

"Yes" she said wiping her tears, and looking at me.

"Mom I don't wanna be here I wanna go back to Baton Rouge"

"We can't go back after what happened" she said wiping her face.

"But mom that's where all my friends are, everything"

"I get that but we can't go back, maybe when you get older you'll be able to move back"

"So you rather stay here with dad, and go through this everyday all day?" I crossed my arms.

"Until we move, and get our own stuff we'll have to"

I couldn't believe what came out this lady mouth.

I left all my friends in BR, and didn't even tell them.

They all were texting me, and stuff but I never replied because I was too sad to even talk about it.

- - - A MONTH LATER - - -

I was still living with my dad, and nothing seemed to change.

My mom started loosing weight, and she even became meaner.
