"Well that could have gone better" END said to Natsu.
"Except it didn't and now Gray's fever is a lot worse than when I was with him in his apartment" Natsu said and released a sigh.
END noticed this odd behavior in Natsu and knew that Natsu loved Gray and never wanted something like this to happen to him. END also noticed through Natsu's eyes how gentle he was being while cleaning Gray's ass from all the blood that, that man caused.
"Natsu could I do something later?" END asked.
"Sure, but nothing that is going to scare Gray or cause his PTSD to flare up" Natsu replied.
"Yes sir. You're the boss." END replied. Secretly END wanted to make it so Natsu would confess his actual feelings for Gray then just be so worried about him twenty four-seven. END also noticed that every time Gray spoke Natsu's heart began to race faster and faster.
"END what is happening? Why is my heart racing when I talk to Gray?" Natsu asked.
END didn't know how to reply until he found an opportunity to make Natsu confess to Gray. "Let me take control now. Please" END begged.
Natsu allowed END to take control of his eyes and hands, but his voice would remain the same. END also had managed to take control of part of Natsu's brain. Well... The half that has a deep confession for Gray.
"Gray I love you. More than a friend and guild mate" Natsu said looking down thinking that Gray didn't love him back.
"I like you too Natsu. I wanted to tell you at my apartment, but you wanted me to sleep" Gray replied. Gray couldn't say 'I love you' or someone would die... So he thought.
"This was your idea. Wasn't it END?" Natsu asked his demon.
"Yes and now there is no way you can get out of this without breaking his heart or he breaks yours" END said. Sadly END knew that if Natsu broke Gray's heart Gray would use Iced Shell on the next person he fights. And if Gray broke Natsu's he would rise and kill Gray.
"Promise that if we ever break up you'll be okay" Natsu asked really scared.
"I can't promise that. I'm a demon from the book of Zeref. I was created from the blood and bones of you when you died 300 years ago" END replied.
Natsu knew that since he learned about him being END there was no way he could suppress his anger. It always got the best of him and normally lead to someone getting really hurt.
"END... Where you always inside me?" Natsu asked wanting the truth.
"Yes. I've always been inside you. Since the day you found Igneel and everyday from then on. When you want me to go you just have to tell me, but without me... You'll be a fallen fairy" END replied.
Natsu has only heard that term a few times when someone in the guild dies. Elfman said it when they thought Lisanna died, the guild says it all the time about Mavis and Makarov's father. The term is not new to Natsu in fact that term is now considered to be a way the guild sends off another Angel.
"Would Gray have been a fallen fairy if we didn't come right away?" Natsu asked while still cleaning Gray.
"Yes. He would have been long gone if we didn't show up when we did. Just be lucky you have fantastic hearing and an incredible sense of smell" END replied trying to cheer up Natsu.
"However... What if he died when Deliora attacked. Would he still have been a fallen fairy?" Natsu asked END.
END thought about it and then said "I don't think so. In order to be a fallen fairy you would have to be in the Fairy Tail guild. When Gray was young he never joined the guild. That was until Deliora attacked his village and he was saved by Ura and Lyon. They trained him so much up to the day Ura died, him and Lyon went separate ways. Still I guess he would be an Angel"
Natsu nodded. Gray has always been an Angel to him.
