Gray's sick day

I was so happy to see my son so healthy and beautiful, but I noticed that he had Natsu's teeth and a few shades in his eyes that matched Natsu. I was actually pondering the thought about going back to the guild with my son to see Natsu's reaction when I tell him it's his.

Morning came fast and I didn't sleep, but I'm glad my son did. I thanked Olivia for the help and she even helped me pick out a name for my son his name is Gideon Fullbuster, I'm actually thinking about asking Natsu to pick out a better name I kinda like the name Ashi Fullbuster-Dragneel. So I'm changing his name and I would have to tell Natsu.

I walked for a long time with Ashi wrapped in my coat against my chest I knew one thing that I could do and that was keep walking till I got back to Fairy Tail. However that was hard because I should have stayed in that cave with the bears for at least 24 to 48 hours.

"Wahhhhahh" Ashi cried.

"Shhh~ Daddy is here. He'll protect you" I whispered and started to hum a song I only remembered hearing once in my lifetime.

I found another cave that I could set up in and hopefully keep us both warm till someone comes to find us, my feet felt frozen and my entire body was numb from trying to walk back to the guild and low and behold. I couldn't do it.

"Y-You're going to meet your other dad soon. After this passes and daddy can walk we will go find dad" I said to Ashi the best I could.

I was to cold to lie and to weak to even think that someone was coming for me and my son, but who knows I could be dead and hallucinating that I have a son and that I'm still alive, but that wasn't the case.

"Gray are you okay?" A voice asked

"Yes Master Mavis... I-I'm okay" I replied.

To be honest Mavis knows when everyone in the guild is okay and not okay and I guess she saw through my lie very fast. I hated to admit that I was weak and cold... Mainly the cold part, admitting your weak and having people care is a strong quality to have.

"The guild didn't happen to send you? Did they?" I asked Mavis.

"No I actually was going to stop by there. Want to join me?" She asked.

I was weak, I couldn't stand and she expects me to walk through the freezing cold with my new born wrapped in my jacket all the way to warm, sunny Magnolia!? I mean I would enjoy the company so I told her that I would love to join her.

Shockingly after a few steps with Mavis I felt like I couldn't touch the ground and when I looked down Mavis and I weren't on the ground.

"What did you name him?" She asked very curious.

"Ashi Fullbuster-Dragneel. Since Natsu is his other father" I told Mavis. She seemed to be shocked so I began to tell her what had happened and how both Natsu and E.N.D saved my life. She didn't seem to be very happy knowing that E.N.D murdered someone. I even explained that it was to save me from him.

I guess she might tell Zeref now, but I think that he would be proud, however I was wrong. She did tell Zeref right when we got to the outskirts of Magnolia, but he seemed pretty pissed off.

"He killed a man for you?" Zeref asked

"Y-Yes" I replied getting ready to protect my son, but then I saw Zeref smile.

"Don't be hard on E.N.D, Mavis, He was only protecting what was rightfully his" Zeref said holding Mavis's hand.

"W-Wait your not mad?" I asked still not feeling too well

"Mad!? No quite the o- Gray are you okay?" Zeref asked.

I didn't remember much besides the feeling of arms wrapped around my body, I couldn't hear if Ashi was crying I wanted to hear my son, but everything was just so... Silent... No it was quiet.
