Gray's POV
I'm kind of glad no one knows about this place except for Lyon and me. I never once spoke about Ura's cottage and how it was a home and safe space for Lyon and me. To be honest I'm glad her cottage is able to mask my sent so now my guild can't find me.

"After what Cana said I really don't want to go back" I told Lyon.

"What about Natsu? Won't he miss you" Lyon asked

I thought about it for a long time to the point where Lyon had hung up on me. I swear he better not tip them off or I'll kill him this time. I also didn't want Natsu to be heartbroken over the fact that I'm no longer in the guild, but... Cana cut me deep.

After all that work Natsu had done to keep me sane in the guild Cana had to undo all that hard work. I walked over the the kitchen and remembered how Ura taught Lyon and I how to make good food and cookies.

I remember where she kept everything, but if I had to go into town I would have to wear a clock and cover my sent with something that didn't smell good at all both to humans and dragon slayers.

I let out a sigh and decided to make myself some dinner and a cookie for dessert, bad thing was.. I had no one to talk to and I really didn't want-

*KNOCK* *KNOCK* *KNOCK*

Of course the door... what isn't new, When I opened it Lyon was there and hugged me tightly. I wish I had Natsu's hearing because Lyon sounded like he was mumbling something and... Crying?

"Lyon? What's wrong?" I asked

"Your guild was attacked. Everyone is okay except Natsu. He got hurt pretty badly and no one is sure if he is going to live" Lyon replied.

I stood there frozen. Natsu!? Hurt!? I was shaking to the point where if he said one more thing about Natsu I would have collapsed and died.

Lyon looked at me and said in a dead stare "The fact Natsu is in the hospital means the dragons are now on a hunt for you. Natsu is dying and you are just hiding!"

I literally felt my whole world shatter. I couldn't hear Lyon all I remember was blacking out and hitting my head on the floor of Ura's cottage.

Lyon's POV
Not going to lie when I saw Gray collapse I was literally scared to the point where I screamed loud enough for the dragon slayers to hear. However I also noticed that his cheeks where still red and he was panting heavily.

"His fever he must have gotten worked up to the point I broke him" I thought.

"L-Lyon" Gray weakly said "Can y-you put me o-on the couch?"

"Sure Gray. I'm really sorry" I said, but Gray just lifted up his arms for me to carry him to the couch.

A few minutes passed and not a sign of the dragon slayers near the cottage, however something was telling me that Gray no longer had a fever, but something else.

Gray woke up after me making some herbal tea and chocolate chip cookies I knew this was my chance to ask him what the hell is going on with him.

"Lyon... I still don't feel to well" Gray whined.

Now I kinda wish Natsu was here to deal with the complaining. "I know, but you need to stay in bed a little longer. I'm sure your guild mates will be here soon"

The second I looked back at Gray he was gone and I mean the door was open and he wasn't there anymore. I really hated this, but now it was time to find the dragon slayers and tell them the plan to get Gray back to the guild by the fake attack was a fail.

Luckily I didn't need to get them, they found there way to the cottage, but boy did I have a lot of explaining to do for them. Not gonna lie I did not enjoy being interrogated by seven very pissed off dragon slayers.

"Guys trust me I don't know where he went" I said shaking

"Then help us find him" Natsu replied with a burning fire tight grip.
