Gray's POV
Not going to lie... I sat there day in and day out with Ashi till Natsu woke up, but it felt like that was never going to happen. Until...
"Guys..."
I woke up and saw the whole guild there and END standing up. He was using Natsu's body like he always has.
"D-Does this mean you're okay!?" I asked.
"No. I have to cry into a cup and someone has to get Natsu to drink it" END said.
"Demons cry!?" I thought to myself.
"How do we do that? We've only seen Natsu cry" Lucy replied.
"Whatever makes Natsu sad should make END sad... Right?" I asked looking at END.
"Exactly. Natsu and I both got pissed when Gray was nearly rapped and cried tears of joy when we saw Ashi" END replied.
"These have to be tears of sadness?" Erza asked holding her left arm.
END nodded and looked at Mirajane, almost like she was the only one who knew how to make a demon cry.
"She devil... I'm great full that you tended to our wounds" END said to Mirajane.
Mirajane blushed and said "I-It was nothing. I'm sure you would have done the same thing"
I just kept thinking that if END was in control then Natsu was most likely suffering from something if he needs demon tears.
"END if you don't mind me asking.... Why does Natsu need demon blood?" I asked.
"If he doesn't have demon blood from me... We'll both revert back to the book of END and we'll head back to Zeref" END replied.
I was shocked and wanted to cry myself. I held Ashi and hoped for the best that Natsu would be fine. I even hoped that we could get Mirajane to make END cry.
We watched as Mirajane whispered something into ENDS ear and then backed away.
"That's the truth" Mirajane replied as she walked away.
END fell to his knees and began to cry. Something Mirajane had said made him cry. Cana quickly caught all the tears into a cup and made END drink it causing it to go to Natsu.
Natsu quickly rose back and asked "Who said what to END!?"
"N-Natsu?" I asked.
"BABE!" Natsu screamed and grabbed onto me and Ashi crying happy tears, until I felt his grip tighten.
"N-Natsu!?" I was getting a little scared.
"I-I thought I-I wouldn't see you again" Natsu replied through heavy breathing and sniffles.
END'S POV
I watched as Natsu rejoiced with Gray and Ashi, but what Mirajane said to me broke my heart. I really didn't even want to tell Natsu what Mirajane said.
"You're nothing, but a temporary soul for Natsu and because of Zeref there is a chance Natsu will never die. Even if he does he won't join us in heaven he'll be a book!" Mirajane replied.
"Am I really all that?" I asked myself
I just listened to Natsu talking to his friends and his new family. Family... The one thing I nearly prevented Natsu from having, but he has one now.
"I'm glad you're happy" I told him.
"Thanks END" Natsu replied.
I couldn't believe that Natsu thanked me for the happiness he's created all himself. What am I really to him?
"You okay?" Natsu asked me and I knew that if I lied he would be onto me and then he'd be at Mirajane for making me feel bad.
"I'm okay. I'm just glad you are okay" I replied.
Lying hurts especially when someone has fire that burns when you lie.
"AHHHHAHHH!!!" I screamed.
"You lied once again" Natsu said as the fire stopped.
"I'm sorry... I-I... I just don't want to talk about it" I replied hoping fire wouldn't burn me.
To my surprise the fire didn't burn me, but Natsu still pretty pissed off that I had lied to him, but because I told the truth this time it didn't seem to bother him.
"I'll have mercy this once, but if I find out you're crying later on you are talking. Got it!?" Natsu asked really pissed off.
"Yes Natsu" I replied a little upset that Natsu rose his voice to me like that.
