Gray's sick day

~Unpleasant Surprise~

Gray's POV
Natsu is here and he screamed which means he saw the blood all over my apartment. I really tried to clean some of it, but I felt so weak and lightheaded that when I ran to the bathroom to sit, but I ended up throwing up in the toilet after getting some on me.

"This is why I came to check on you" Natsu said standing in my bathroom doorway with a giant smirk on his face.

"I-I'm not si-sick and we are going o-on a job... Tomorrow" I said barely keeping food in my stomach.

"Fine, but if your fever rises I'm taking you to my special place where I will be taking care of you" Natsu said.

I wanted to fuck around and tell Natsu that he could take me to a cave... However Natsu seemed like this place was super special and private that even Happy might not know about it.

"What's so special about it?" I asked.

"You'll see, but we need to get you to a hospital to get that healed" Natsu said as he helped me back up to my feet.

As we walked downstairs I began to fade in and out of consciousness.

"Gray! Gray! GRAY!" A voice called. Last thing I remember was blacking out at the top of my apartment stairs.

The smell of blood polluted the streets of Gray's hometown as a scared little boy goes running from the demon that has now taken everything. However this little boy still believed that his parents where still alive.

"Mommy! Daddy! Where are you guys? The demons leaving... Right?" Little Gray asked. He still wandered till he found what was the remains of his home. He smiled as he ran towards them thinking that his parents would still be alive.

"Mommy... Daddy..." Gray said as he looked into the empty void of his house. He noticed that the beams where still intact for the most bit, but then quickly noticed his mother's dead body and his father's head cracked open.

"NO!" Gray screamed

*Beep* *Beep* *Beep* *Beep*

My eyes felt heavy and I could barely move. I had no idea what happened or where I was till I had heard the heart monitor which made me realize I'm in a damn hospital. When I looked to my right I saw a curtain, but when I looked to my left I saw Natsu who looks like he had been up for a few ni-

"You nearly died" Natsu said not looking me in my eyes.

Natsu's POV
Of course I was worried when Gray passed out, but he also had a seizure which scared everyone in his apartment, Even a poor old lady. When The ambulance finally came they sped Gray to the hospital and I followed on foot.

He's been asleep for the last four days and now he finally woke up.

"D-Did I really?" He asked.

"Wouldn't have said it if I never meant it" I replied. Honestly I didn't want to look him in the eyes, but I saw something in them from the window. There was something dark and almost scary behind his eyes.

"Y-You okay?" I asked slowly turning my eyes to meet his.

"Y-Ye-Yeah" Gray replied, even thought it was kinda everywhere.

I know Gray better than he even knows himself which is kinda shocking because everyone should know themselves, but Gray knew himself and then lost it to a demon who took everything from him. I'm going to admit that, that must have been the hardest thing ever.

"Gray I want to help you with anything that you are going though. Alright?" I said.

Gray however just nodded and acted like he heard every single word, but I wasn't going to make him repeat it or anything, because everyone in the guild knows just how painful it was for Gray when he told us that he lost both his parents.

"Hey.. This maybe a bad time, but when's your birthday Gray?" I asked trying to get him to say something.

Gray kinda looked down and thought for a second, I could tell he was trying to recall if he even- OH MY LORD HE LOST HIS MEMORY!

"It's February 13" Gray replied after a while.

Okay so he didn't lose his memory thank god.

"Who gave you that necklace?" I asked.

"Ura" Gray replied yet again. Now I could tell two things, One: I'm getting on his nerves and Two: He wants to leave the hospital.
