It was Saturday and I was busy playing with my twins here in our home.

I had thought about what Mr. Park said and he's right.

There's no use running away again.

I cannot just runaway from the past.

I need to face it on my own.

"My! Sabi Yosh, la kame dada." Olga suddenly said and pouted on the sofa.

I looked at her twin but he just continued playing with his toy train.

"Sino gusto ng ice cream?" I asked and both twins jumped to me.

"Chocolate ako, 'my." Olga said, her eyes sparkling.

"Ube po sakin, 'my." Oliver said his preferred flavor.

"Okay! Bihis muna tayo tapos alis na agad." I said and they hurriedly went to their room. "Wag tumakbo! Baka madapa kayo!"

While they were in their room, I went to mine and grabbed my bag where my wallet is and headed to see the twins.

I helped Olga with her yellow lilo and stitch shirt and Oliver with his shoes.

I also made sure I had the twins' towels and extra shirts with me, in case they got messy.

Checking if my phone still has battery, I slipped it back to my bag.

With children in both hands, I ordered them to watch out for each other and never lose each others hands in case something goes wrong.

I secured the lock in our house and we rode the jeepney to the nearest ice cream house.

"Ang cute naman nila!"

"Ang ganda din naman ng nanay, mamsh! May pagmamanahan!"

"Sana pag nagka-anak ako, ganyan din kacute!!"

"Gaga! Mag-boyfriend ka muna! Wala ka ngang jowa eh!"

Those were the words we received as we rode the public transportation to our destination.

When we got off, I couldn't wipe off the kids happy faces.

If there is one thing that they inherited from me, it is indeed the love for ice cream and sweets.

I let my children choose our table while I go to the counter to order.

I was fishing out cash from my wallet when I didn't hear my kids' voice.

It was strange coz every time we went here, they would be fighting over who will sit beside the store's window.

I immediately handed over my payment to the lady at the counter as she quickly placed our ice creams on a tray.

I rushed to where my children were when I saw them talking to a man whose back was turned to mine.

The guy was seated beside Oliver who was seated across Olga.

The twins both have their animated expressions which left me awestruck and curious.

"Oh? Ube din ang gusto mong flavor?" The guy's voice sounds so familiar to me so I hurried to our table.

"Mommy!" It was Olga who first noticed me and the guy didn't turn around so I cannot identify who he is.

"Yehey! Ice cream!! Chocolate! Mine! Mine!" Olga exclaimed and extended her tiny arms for the ice cream and spoon.

As I near our table to sit beside Olga, my heart thumped like crazy.

Who is this man? And why does my heart goes like this?

I didn't realize that I was holding my breath until I sat down and look at his eyes.

It was Peter Jin!

The guy at the airport!

His blue eyes were giving me the cold look and I could almost turn to white.

"Hello, Mommy." He smirked.

"Mommy! Dada P was so cool! He likes ube too! " Oliver, my ever silent  kid who barely says more than three words, were talkative today. He was enthusiastic, probably because he found someone with the same interest as he is.

"Oh, Dada! This is my pretty mommy, Olivia." Olga squealed and licked on the ice cream off her spoon.

"Yeah. Your mom is pretty like you, baby." Peter said and raised an eyebrow at me. He started eating on his ice cream too.

Heck! Saan nanggaling yun?! Hindi ko man lang napansin yung ube ice cream nya.

Oliver was busy eating his ice cream beside him too.

"Ice cream mo, baka matunaw." Peter said and let out a chuckle.

I started to eat my ice cream while still trying my best to understand what's happening now.

Paanong andito sya?

And, why would he call me mommy?

This is strangely weird!
